Err in the 210s!! Wow, that is great, just great! Again good to see your new low Angel. And Vic it is always nice to have you here.
I'm joining you temporarily in spirit. I won't be posting my weight as I am too embarrassed, but I am weighing every day for at least a week & then who knows? I think it will help me to get back on track......
Good to have you Cate, and you don't have to post your weight. Maybe you could do something like a plus or minus beginning now, it would be as good at tracking progress as the numbers. Any way you can make work and be comfortable with is good. Frequent weighing is important to me to stay on track.

Just bouncing along here in the 240s. Yesterday the nutritionist told me she though the recent weight drop could be related to my cutting out diary. I was consuming a lot of my calories in diary, between yogurt and the whey in my protein supplements, maybe 1/3 of my calories. She says she sees evidence that I do not digest diary products well and eating that much could have caused inflammation... First I have heard of that. I know I am not lactose intolerant, before I went to her I tried taking lactaid with all my diary but it made no difference, she said my problem was different and that lactaid would not help. Who knows, but since going on the new diet my weight is down to the new lows, and it is fairly stable. No big swings in a couple of weeks, but I know that can easily change, it has before. We'll see.

Great new low Angel! You will be past me in no time. Did you actually lose weight during the day yesterday? My first thing in the morning weight is always my lowest, I tend to gain during the day and then drop back again at night.

And LaMa doing very well also! Based on my past history it is probably too soon to be sure of the stability, and this month will be a test. First a vacation, mostly to New Orleans one of my favorite eating places, and then surgery and I know last time I had surgery it added ~10 lbs of water weight that held on for a while. We'll see.

Nothing new here, still bouncing, but close enough to stable to feel good. Looking back over the last 8 - 9 months of what I have called maintenance it is looking like have been losing weight rather than maintaining. I was at 167 back in July of last year when I decided to start maintenance, and though I bounced up close to that again last month I think that was probably all water and the loss is starting to look real. Funny how bouncing can conceal trends, even when you weigh and track every day. After I get back to "normal" recovering from vacation and surgery I may have to reevaluate where I am with calories. As I always say, we'll see!

I arrived in time to catch the sunset, but just. The sun sets a lot earlier in Orange County than Northern California, even during the winter when southern latitudes get more sun. Seems odd until you realize that Los Angeles is actually east of Reno, NV...
 
Great picture Err! Enjoy your vacation, I suppose it's warmer and sunnier than NorCal, but otherwise I think I would prefer to be where you live. Too many people in the whole LA/Orange county area for me. Good to see you and LaMa holding your losses!

LaMa you are right of course, I don't really know what "normal" is or will be for me. However I do think the 20 lb swings should not be normal, hope they have ended, but who knows. I do expect that between vacation and surgery the second half of this month will not be so stable as the first. No change her, still bouncing along in the 140s.

Agreed that 20 lb swings don't sound normal. 2-3 up and down is the max I get without knowing what's going on.
