More new lows!!
and
! Great work.
Before I started here I didn't even understand how much I ate!
I sure understand that, just keeping track was probably the most important thing I did, and its still important and can sometimes be hard. You are right, it is a long road, in fact I have come to realize the struggle will not end for me, not so long as I am alive and don't want to regain the weight... Natalya you are off to a good start, and should be proud that you have started. That is often the hardest part. You got this!

Nothing new here... and nothing insightful I can think of to say about it. LaMa you are right, at least some of it has to be muscle gain, I have been working out regularly for almost a year now. Had a few interruptions, but more on that off. And I agree on the muscle gain thing, particularly when you first start exercising it is easy to feel like you are gaining muscle but in reality it is slow. I know from looking that some of my muscles are a bit bigger, not a lot, but a little... Now I need to stay the course for a few more days, if I stay in the 160s I will consider cutting calories a little.

A rare day with new records in almost every category. And after struggling at it since October I finally completed my first pull-up since high school (ugly form, but I'll take it). Calories will be bumping up to 2450 with more increases likely soon due to less body fat and vastly increased exercise.

Very impressive Err, and now below that big half your original body weight milestone! Congrats on that pullup!! I am still contemplating trying one...

This morning I am down a little, for no more reason I can see than why I went up. Oh well, down is better than up, not back into the 150s, but close.

As I said in my diary I think I owe the drop to increased caffeine yesterday. Or maybe I'm just perpetually surprised by the fact I'm still losing weight at this pace. But mostly the caffeine.

That's great LaMa! Caffeine or not. Vic and Err, good to see you holding most of your losses.

Good to see Vic hanging in the 130s and Err in the 220s. And Err congrats on the new "highBIA" low.

I am now down 11 lbs from where I was just 5 days ago. And I can think of nothing I am doing differently, it just happened. As quickly and unexplained as my gains. Now I am back where I want to be, and I should be happy about it. On some level I am, but the ups and downs are not fun. I guess I am kind of getting more used to seeing them.

Those are some wild swings. Maybe you could go back in your food diaries and see if you can find any correlations with the fluctuations?

136.6 lbs
A new low and down 10 lbs since January 1, that is great Vic! And Err, good to see you holding in the 220s, I am sure your downward movement will start again soon.

Thanks Natalya, and you are right losing 160 lbs has been good for me, real good. I still struggle, but with new things and I feel a lot better. The big thing that's changed is trying to do maintenance rather than losing weight, to be honest I think it is harder... LaMa, I have looked really hard for those correlations and just can't find them. The last time I gained and lost I became convinced it was to do with salt and grapefruit, gaining when eating more and then losing when I cut back. But then after cutting back I gained and am now losing just as much without the high salt or grapefruit...

Speaking of which I continue downward this morning, now down 13 lbs in the last 6 days... One thing this weighing every day has done for me is to help me accept it a bit, its happened before and at least for the time seems to be my "new normal".
