Still no weight loss, but I did have 2 non-scale victories:

1) I ran my fastest (still slow) 3 miles this morning and
2) as I was measuring my waistline I noticed the fat on my back no longer sticks out past my butt

It seems to have started about the same time I stopped taking blood pressure medication on the 9th (bp is still good yay!), but Lisinopril is more known for causing weight gain/ water retention rather than preventing it. Perhaps a coincidence?

Nice Err, you are also getting close to a couple of real milestones. At 250 you will be half way through the 200s, and I believe will have lost 200 lbs, is the second one right? That would be an incredible accomplishment, a truly rare thing!

Nice job Omega! And Rob you're doing great holding the course through those maintenance fluctuations.

I may already be down 200 lb, but I'm not certain what my starting weight was. I think it was likely above 450 since my 450-lb scale initially displayed Err2 overload errors the first week and Err1 instability errors the 2nd week. The first reading I got was 438 on day 10 after eating an average of 1350 calories - a deficit that should have resulted in at least 5.5 lbs of fat loss. To have been over 450 I would have had to have lost about 6.5 lbs of water weight, but that often happens when suddenly cutting out so many carbs...

So unofficially I'll say 450 was my starting weight, but use 438 as the "official" marker (as if anyone besides me cares...)

I felt great on my run today, crushing my 3-mile time by over 1 minute/mile. Crossing my finger I'll be in a new weight decade tomorrow...

I also have a bit of trouble with my beginning weight. I did weigh when I started here and am pretty sure about the 320, so I use it. However I know earlier in my life I was heavier, about 10 years ago I know I was at 360, but lost some weight back then and never regained it all. So I say I am down a bit over 160, and for the current diet that's true, but in reality I am a little over 200 lbs down from my peak weight, but I don't really know what that peak weight was. Your rationale for a beginning weight sound reasonable, but I'd probably go with the 450, its probably close to right and makes for a nice round number! Any way you look at it you have done a great thing Err!

My weight bounced back over 250, but the good news is that I *just* squeaked under a 10 minute mile for the first time in 20 years. I'm mildly surprised since I wasn't feeling super coordinated/strong the first 1/4 mile, but I felt better and better the closer I got to the finish...
