My weight is still mostly flat, but if I believe today's unusually low waist measurement my body fat % is declining. If true, I am nearly out of the "morbid obesity" category when based on BF% (my BMI is still well inside the morbid obesity range). For my height (5' 7-8"):

Rob - maintenance is all about being comfortable with every weight in that goal range - you are still maintaining that area great - despite a trip away.

Err2 - those body fat measurements are coming down wonderfully :hurray: :hurray: :hurray:

It puts me in mind of something we used to chat about on my big project. Sometimes our weight gets a bit stuck - but if you take monthly measurements with a tape measure you often see changes happening when the scales imply that nothing is happening... I need to start doing something like that to have a baseline to compare with. I remember that Amber had a medical expert do a full range of measurements on her during her project and she shared the positions... I'll see if I can find it... I'm still in touch with her on FB if I get stuck finding it.......

Hey Vic, good for you getting into the 130s!!

I bounced back down a bit this morning, y'all were right of course in maintenance a few pounds up and down is to be expected. Doesn't keep me from worrying about the ups, it is hard to see the scales go up, even a little, after a long weight loss. I head to the airport soon for my Louisiana fishing trip, won't likely be able to weigh or post again until Wednesday, see you then.

August began 161, ended 159 range 163 to 159.

I managed to find a ridge with 4G, but not solid flat ground for my scale so no weights today & tomorrow. That's probably for the best since my camping food is all pretty high in sodium.

So I modestly increased my calories with the intention of lowering them if I hit a plateau lasting 2 weeks. It has now been 2 weeks with essentially no weight loss, but I'm still going to maintain my ~1425 calorie target for another week because my body fat % has been declining nicely (an estimated 8 lbs of fat loss these last 2 weeks).
 
A reduced body fat percent and back to your low weight whilst doing a refeed which can only help future losses is a fantastic result :party:

Good for you on the new low Omega! And Err, congrats on the body fat thing. I think I like what you are doing with your diet, it makes a lot of sense. It should keep you from losing a lot of muscle as you lose weight, I know I lost muscle.
