Weigh Yourself Everyday (or frequently) Club

I had to miss yesterday because I was at my friends house. Today I'm 146.8. I can't seem to stay on track when I'm not at home! But alas, back to normal today, so hopefully I can FINALLY get to 145.0 and lower and stay there soon. My challenge is to be good all week!

its good to hear this! I was always under the impression it was better to weight yourself weekly because then you see better results. But i cant help it when im trying to lose weight i always weigh myself! I will do this too! (well continue doing what i have been but feel like its not naughty anymore haha)
lets shed those lbs!
 
Oops - missed a day again... I do this from time to time - especially when things stay the same - it seems to reduce my motivation to post...

Nallie - it's great to have you with us. Good luck in your project. Weighing weekly never worked for me... It gives me too long to be naughty without having to face up to the effect. It worked for me and quite a lot of the people who did big projects at the same time as I did mine... If you weigh every day you become more aware of the impact of things like sodium, TOM, food weight... If you see other people's daily weighing you realise that day to day fluctuations are absolutely normal.

Marie221 - I love the desert / sun design of your ticker... It is exactly the same combination that I used for my big project. I am using a seperate ticker which just shows by 2013 project until I get back to goal. I changed it because the current situation looks too good to motivate me on my big ticker... When I get back to goal I will use my old ticker again. We will have the same ticker design then. I hope your ticker is as lucky for you as it was for me.

Soundasleepx - trips away from home always present us with extra challenges... The important thing is that you are posting and back on track now. Lets hope that we ALL manage to be good ALL week.

147.2. I have lost my motivation :( I ate two ice creams last night and I didn't even need them! I've got to somehow manage to motivate myself again cause I was doing so well before!
 
What have you done to try to motivate yourself?

I bought a brilliant top in a charity shop for about £3 which I know will look stunning at my salsa nights when I get to goal... It cost next to nothing - and I keep getting it out and trying it on... It is a little bit tight around my tummy but I know that it will look brilliant as I lose some weight...

I also get a lot of motivation from being in a challenge... they always helped me in the past...

I have a trick for ice cream cravings... experiment putting different yoghurts in the freezer for different durations. you can make some brands of yoghurts taste just like ice cream if you freeze them for the right length of time.

In my big project I had literally months where I was having 4 frozen Shape yoghurts every day and feeling like I was eating ice cream for lunch.

It is low in calorie and packs protein and calcium for your daily stats.
