I don't think any of us are weighing daily and expecting to lose a bunch of weight daily. It's part of a routine to get yourself accustomed to weighing yourself, so that you can watch fluctuations in your weight, so that if it starts creeping back up you can catch it, and correct it before it becomes a big deal. There are even some studies that show that after people have lost a significant amount of weight, if they weigh themselves daily they are more likely to keep the weight off. Given the odds of keeping that weight off are really low in the first place, I'll take any boost I can get.
