WEEK 1 - 25/5/09 - START WEIGHT 168.75LBS

25/5/09 - 168.75lbs - (10 minutes home stepper)
26/5/09 - 166.75lbs - 2lbs (40 minutes regular walking - 20 mins pilates)
27/5/09 - 165.75lbs - 1lb (40 minutes regular walking - 20 minutes pilates)
28/5/09 - 164.75lbs - 1lb (20 minutes pilates X 2)
29/5/09 - 163.75lbs - 1lb (the scales do show other than 0.75lbs when other household members use them, they are brand new so I must be losing straight pounds, seems a bit odd though).

I know we lose more in the first week but this is giving me such a boost.
 
I am near my target weight (1-2 pounds diffence) but I am afraid that i won't keep it and that is temporary. Now that i am near my target weight should i stay on track or relax and don't be so cautious about diet?

Well, it will be interesting to see what the scale says for the next week or two, as today i am upping my daily calorie intake as its been on the low side im told. Im kind of expecting to see a weight gain, but who knows? Its a real struggle to make myself eat more, as i just keep thinking of the weight i'll gain. But mayby it will give me extra energy to work out harder. Here's hoping :)

hey kakutzi, i'm definitely in the same boat as you, i also started finally calorie counting yesterday and found out i had been eating under so increased my calories, i'm also rather nervous as to whether i'll gain weight or not...will give myself a few days to adjust to the new increase in cals and hopefully the weightloss will continue thereafter.

Well cherry, at least your not gaining weight by increasing your calories which is good! I clearly am which sucks. I know i have to be patient for at least a week before i reevaluate things.

Wow chip, your really doing well with your workouts. The weight is falling off you...

had a treat meal yesterday, and just like last time gained 2.4pounds overnight so i'm not too worried since as before it was mostly water weight...however i'm still curious to know what my weight loss will be like this week since i'm upping my calories as of two days ago.

hey hun, just hang in there...i wish i could advise you but i'm also just as lost since i started counting calories just the other day and as you know increased mine too....in my case i'll give it a few days and if nothing happens i'll post a question in the nutrition section....for now i need to work off this 'treat meal' weight that i put on:ack2:, of course i've INSISTED it's water weight...lol!
 
Thanks for your support cherry! I REALLY wanted to revert back to my lower calories this morning, just so i can see the weight going down again. Patience isnt my strong suit. But ive made myself stick to it, and give it one whole more week to see if my weight stabilises, and then i can start losing again. Its great to know we are going through the same thing. Im sure you can work off your small gain with the kickass workouts you do!
