Weigh Yourself Everyday (or frequently) Club

I don't weigh myself every day- my weight can fluctuate up to 3lbs per day!! Depending on when I get weighed. I find it better and more accurate to do it once a week, and at the same time each week. I do it every Sunday afternoon (purely because I go to my grandparents, and they have scales and we don't!)
 
Although i am near my target weight i can't stay on my programme when i go out for lunch. It's really difficult to eat a little when you go out and everyone else eats. Fortunately i go out to eat one or two day a week but always i feel stressed because i can't really control what i am eating in a day out. Are there any suggestions for this matter?

i think the dish that supposed to do the least damage (and i could be wrong so maybe someone else could also chip in) is the grilled chicken then can be had with salad without dressing? i don't know just thinking out loud. that's definitely a tough decision. wishing you all the best though xoxo

Cherry, Hi, I think your right on with that. Even KFC is grilling chicken now. Yum! I've been dealing with the same stuff. I think it appears that I'm anti social because right now I know I can't take the temptation so I stay home. Yesterday was mothers day and I stayed home when all the other moms in the family went out. I felt a little sorry for myself but when I got up this morning and weighed and measured it made up for my self pitty yesterday.

aw, sorry to hear it LBN, but you know what? it's the last mothers day you'll ever be home, your getting your life back and once you've reached your goal weight will be able to do what you want and when you want....and you know what? your probably the only mum on mothers day who lost a pound and a half, whereas others were gaining pounds!

i totally understand you about the feeling like your being anti-social, i've also distanced myself from any social events because temptation would be too high and i don't want to slip in my diet, but these will be the last few months i live as a hermit, those days will be gone sooner than we think!

Back on the wagon

Finally im back after falling off the wagon just over a month ago. My last recorded weight was
4/7 169.4
I havent done a days excercise in the last month, and have been eating whatever (not good!). So i had expected that i wouldve put on all the weight i had previously lost. ( Start weight 193.6 ) Quite shocked to get on the scales today and to have not put on anything!!! So todays weight is

5/12 168.08

Hopefully i can stick with it this time. By posting here i know it will keep me motivated.

After last week's gain, I decided I would better hold myself accountable if I weighed myself everyday. (I expected some weight gain, because I was upping my calories on purpose, but I went overboard, and I have the FitDay food diary to prove it :'(. And the really bad days... I don't have a food diary, which further proves I knew I was overboard and didn't want to face it.)

Hi Cherry, Thank you for everything you said. Its good to know that I'm not the only one avoiding social situations. Its amazing when your doing so good how many people want to break you. My mother in law wont stop with the cake and my stepson just keeps bringing up my trigger foods. (Not going to mention them because they will probably trigger everyone else too) I dont keep those foods in the house and he keeps asking where they are. I keep telling him if he wants them he has to lock them in his truck. LOL. I have no willpower when it comes to _________.
Yes.. soon we will be like everyone else ... do you really think so? I am scared, I mean literally scared when it comes to this. Like an alcoholic. I'm sure its the same. One taste and I'm off to the races.
Anyone else like this. Like a serious food addict when it comes to some target foods? You just cant shut down!
