To be a BIG F**ker!

Are you getting good results? I'm starting to get a bit frustrated with mine.
I really don't know what my problem is.

Yea im seeing hypetrophy definately! Strength gains are steadily increasing.

Well how long have you been doing it kraken? Give it time if you havnt. Are you getting the calories you need aswell?

I've been really dediceted for about 2 years. I would say I've been doing it right for about a year now. Part of why my bench is so high. 2 years of putting up weights I have seen some gains in strength big time. But if you look at me I hardly look like I even work out.

I was just really pissed last night asking myself why the hell I even do this.

So you wanting some big gains in mass then? are you eating loadsssss of calories???? Are you tracking your intakes?

Dont let it get you down Krak mate. Im sure all you might need are some tweaks to your diet or routine!

Your strong, i would expect you to be a fair size! Keep motivated!

thanks Tom, yeah I'm a pretty big guy. 6'-3" 225. Maybe thats my problem I'm not getting the calories I need. I don't count them perhaps I should start.
I'm pretty sure I get enough protein with the nuts, protein shakes, and meat in my diet.
 
Yea, BUT maybe your not! Roughly for your size id say you want around 250g protein MINIMUM!

Lets say theres around..

30g protein - 100g peanuts
30g - tin of tuna
30g - chicken breast
And shakes can range from like 20g to 50g+

So would you say your getting enough? Maybe you need to eat more carbs? Put on more mass. I dont know.

You will be able to sort it out tho!

Also for your size, id say 3500cals minimum for you! :)

3500 cals!!! **** theres no way I'm getting that. I'm at around 2500 and thats just an estimate.

2500 is probably just you maintenance level! I think that could well be the number 1 reason to why your not satisfied with some of your results.

Its hard work eating all of that tho! But its gotta be done Kraken. ;)

yeah that would be tough. now my only concern with taking in that many cals is the love handles I got. so if I take in that much and I keep my exercise routine up I'll be ok?
 
I think you will, just up them slightly for a couple of weeks and if your ok, add another 300 or so on. Keep doing it like that. I got some little love handles, but theyll be gone by summer :)

so yeah, eat until you start gaining weight (not too much though, since you don't want to get too fat :p)

Good job on the deadlifts, Tom. What grip are you using? overhand or alternate?

You heard it from my Homopartner himself Kraken! EAT MORE ;)

Alternate grip Kark, but the ****ing bar was really pulling my skin apart! I think gloves would really help. Im going to keep upping the weight now. I bet i could of got 8 reps with that 308.

Ill try get some gloves tomorrow.
 
yeah just step on the scale once a week (in the morning before eating) and see how much you gain.. you don't want to gain too much over 1 lbs.
 
Right tonight is my Cardio Session. This is in help towards my lowering BF intentions.

Ill post what i do tonight. Still im not drinking at the weekend. Im also going to train Sat & Sun. Which will make it 6 days this week! I dont feel i am over training either :D
 
FFS! Pissed off, got home later than i thought and my mate went to gym without me, so couldnt really get there. So cardio session went outta the window :(

Still tho im sticking to my promise and not drinking or nothing :D

Therefore, if weight training/cardio is eliminated because of no fault of your own, you are STILL in control of one element: THE DIET.

The diet is king, you hold true this, and it will hold you until your next workout.

damn that just seems like a lot of ****ing food. But hey I love food so what the hell right LOL

Man... 3500 calories isn't tough to get down AT ALL! I would eat 5,000 if I wouldn't watch myself.

I have to actually restrict myself so I don't eat too damn much! haha..

Dont worry, my diet is good. Im just going to fit my cardio session in this weekend sometime :D
 
To tell you the truth I don't even like eating a lot. Makes me feel dull.

I love it, but i can sometimes make me feel bloated n reallllly uncomfortable.
