The Tattooed Lady

Thanks for the info. I'll see how I can work them in. I usually have pre/post workout, lunch, dinner, snack. If not workout, then it's just breakfast, lunch, dinner, snack. I can defintely try the 300 or 400 calories per meal. That would seem like a better idea for me.

I counted the calories for the banana smoothie:

2 graham cracker - 140
2 small bananas - 160
8oz yogurt - 250
1 tsp vanilla - 9
Total - 559

I only had 1/3 of it. It got split between Ash, Kegan, and I. I also used strawberry yogurt instead of vanilla, so it was strawberry/banana smoothie.

Today was better calories wise, but I was eating when I wasn't hungry, so now I know what to work on. *Thanks again Sparrow.*

Food

Breakfast - .5 oz bacon(40), biscut(100), egg(75), milk(120) = 335
Lunch- none, busy swimming and not hungry
Supper - 1/2 whole wheat pita(100), 1 tbsp mayo(70), .5 chx salad(198), 21 pretzels(110) = 478
Snack 1 - Atkins Advantage Carmel Fudge Brownie Protein Bar = 160
Snack 2 - Banana/Strawberry Smoothie = 186
Snack 3 - 2 string cheese(my daughter didn't want hers,140), 10 pita chips(110) = 250
Total = 1409

Hopefully I can get back on track Monday.

Yesterday Greene and Kegan went to our fav store (Poor Man's Thrift Shop) where they sell dented cans and whatnot real cheap, but you've gotta check the dates. He got a big box full of protein bars for $30.:D Some of the protein bars are big enough to be a meal. They are the size of a king size candybar. Good god..we've got protein bars to last us for months and months:D

Today was a good day all around. Got some quiet time to myself since Ash was playing at the neighbors and Greene was out visiting the neighbors.

Food wise was ok. Came close to 1500 but was shy 30 calories. Hopefully this week will be better.

Breakfast - 1 biscuit(100), .5 gravy(272), milk(120) = 492

Lunch - 1/2 pita(100), .5 ham salad(250), 21 pretzels(110) = 220

Snack - Protein bar(160), cup grapes(60) = 220

Supper - .5 chix salad(198), .5 cottage cheese(90) = 288

Total = 1470

I'll probably be hungry all day tomorrow. That's where the protein bars come in.

Last night when we went to bed, the air conditioner was turned down to the lowest setting, that I didn't see earlier, so we ended up sleeping downstairs. We dragged Ash's mattress and our mattress downstairs so we would have something to sleep on. You should have seen us. Too bad I didn't get a pic.

OMG, I'm so hungry, I could eat a cow. Think I'll have a protein bar or a protein shake before I workout.

I stayed light with the workout today. I'll see how my back is next couple of days. If it seems like it's ok Wednesday, I'll up the poundage a little bit.

I was doing so good today until my aunt called wanting me to come over and help my uncle with his computer. I ate lunch before I left so I wouldn't be hungry. She ended up making tuna salad with crackers and salsa. That was healthy. Only had about .5 of tuna, 5 crackers and 2 tbsp salsa, which was good, but ended up giving in to dessert, so I had my cheat for the week, 5 chocolate chip cookies :eek: :eek: :eek:. Needless to say, I've giving up counting calories for the day and I still need to eat fix supper, but I told myself it will be healthy. Thinking grilled pork chops, corn and potato. Oh well, there's always tomorrow.

I know we all mess up, that's human nature, but I need to be strong this week because my parents are coming down for a visit. I know what will happen if I don't. I'll be back to 186 and starting all over again from day 1.

In the words of Larry The Cable Guy, "Git-R-Done" and "Lord forgive me and be with the pygmies in New Guinea....Amen"

Dont stress about it she, trust me, it happens to the best of us! you are doing great:)
