The Tattooed Lady

Looking at your percentages, my guess is the more egg whites (no yolks) you can have the better - the reason is because they're almost pure protein with little in the way of fat and/or carbs.

Ok that'll work. Will start that soon as that will take the place of the broccoli/mac cheese.

Here's the list of things that still need to get finished in the backyard. All isn't going to get done in one day or I would be hurting tomorrow...

1. plant flower box and put on front porch (would like to get done today)
2. clean up backyard from yesterday (needs to be started today)
3. replant ferns (has to be done today)
4. rip up plastic and tree roots from flower beds I cleaned out yesterday (at least started today)
5. plant squash, leaf lettuce and peppers (in flower box that I cleaned out yesterday)

Then if that isn't enough to keep me busy..need to figure out what to make for supper and do the dishes I didn't do yesterday.

*UPDATE*

Flower box is together and sitting on the porch. I really need another one but we'll see how it goes between now and after the holiday.

The ferns are replanted but I don't think they're gonna make it... I've never planted ferns let along replanted them so they could surprise me and take off.

Didn't get very far on the flower beds I cleaned out yesterday. I couldn't get the roots and whatnot up. Greene is gonna have to work on that part. Once he gets them up I can finish ripping up the plastic and whatever's left.

I got all the limbs and whatnot picked up and out for the city to pick up but still more to pickup.

Forgot to add I bought some seeds for the flower boxes. Hope it's not too late to plant them... I bought 2 kinds of squash, green peppers, leaf lettuce. The other seeds are just different kinds of flowers as soon as I get all the wild onions out of the bed (by the back door, not the beds by the garage. That's where the veg seeds are going, beds by the garage). I hate the wild onions. They should be outlawed...

I'll be so happy when I get this project done but the backyard will look better err not so redneckish....:D

The flower bed is done w/the seeds. Now just the waiting game for them to grow.

Can't do anything about the roots in the other beds. Just gonna have to work around them and trim them down when they grow again. Need to finish pulling the plastic up and god knows whatelse before I can plant the stuff in them.

Greene wants me to spray wash the garage tomorrow. I told him I'm taking the day off and concentrate on the inside. I really want to take the day off period but that's not going to happen.

My food sucked today but trying to get rid of the leftovers so hopefully I can get it under control tomorrow. The chili is gone and only have one bowl left of the broccoli/maccheese. It has been clean eating just couldn't bring the carbs down today.

Been sore the past two days now. It's the back of my thighs. Guess I worked those muscles good. It hurts to get up and sit down. Bending over isn't too bad. Guess it could be worse.

Oh yea forgot to mention that what I thought was wild onion that I picked out of the bed was actually Easy Lillies... All I picked out had to go right back in. Guess I should have smelled them first...:D

Inquiring minds want to know..are egg substitues really better than real eggs? You see it at the store..just didn't know if it would be worth buying it.

I love it when I'm sore in those areas. I am sore today with my sides, after doing side bends with weights the other day. :D

YAY on your garden. I have to go something this year with my yard. It's pitiful. LOL

It's strange but bengay brings back memories of my granny putting it on my neck when I woke up in the mornings. I love the smell of it but it really burns when you put it on after you get out of the shower when you're still wet.

Did better yesterday. Brought carbs down and protein/fat up. Last night was tacos and made them meatless but used refried beans has the meat. Was really good. Will have to make them like that again.

M&D are coming down today so I'll be on and off this weekend being the holiday and all. Calling for 20-30% chance of rain tomorrow but we'll still have the cookout even if we have to put a tent over the fire...:D It's the redneck way..ha ha ha ha.

Started off good and ended bad (but it was worth it). Tomorrow is the cookout. I think I can handle it. Defintely back to it either Sunday or Monday.

Cookout went well. Lots of good food and good company. Food wise it sucked but I knew it would be. Back on track tomorrow though I might be able to pull it together for the rest of the day.

Back on track today. Spent the weekend not watching what I ate/not counting calories. I'm almost tempted to buy a bikini and make it my goal to fit into it but I'm too scared to put one on. Maybe I'll pass on the idea...:D

Yesterday was all good until Greene accidently found one of my favorite desserts left over from the weekend. Don't have to tell you what happened next...:D I don't regret it. Just have to get back on track today. It's not in fitday because I don't have the info for it.
