Cinderelly asked for clarification of the points for week 2 bonus.

Just so that it is easily accessible to us all:

Fiber is important in any diet, whether you're trying to lose weight or not. This week's bonus is to eat at least 25g of fiber each day. You'll get 2 pts for each day that you do this.

This bonus starts on Friday. :)

Good luck on your weigh-ins this week. Remember--you can use Thursday or Friday's weight. Also remember to report your pts by Friday EST (GMT-5) or else they won't be counted.
 
down 2 lbs this week! from 206.4 to 204.4! yes! makes me happy! :D how'd y'all do?

Oh god - im sorry - I had a gain - you all are doing so great and I am struggling a little with my schedule and such...

My oldest has had the flu all week and is spreadin it to us...We are so sick right now - lol...

I did however still go to water areobics for an hour last night even though I was sick and I am going this morning...Depending on if I start feeling any better...

If I dont get booted off I promise I will try my hardest for a loss this week.

Ive been drinking apple juice and sprite for my throat.

Sorry to hear you and your kids are sick. :( Tea with honey is really good for a sore throat. And a touch of whiskey will help you sleep. :D

Thanx BB - Im having no problems sleeping that is for sure.I called in sick yesturday and stayed home...We had 2 naps I never do that nor do I never slow down...however this is what eventually happens to a supermom - ha ha ha!!!I burn my candle at both ends pretty well...ha ha ha...

I feel horrible abt another week with no loss...

I'm sorry to say that the 3 people whose names are at the bottom in red have been eliminated. Don't forget about the 2nd chance thread for those who are eliminated. I hope you will keep up your weight loss efforts, and join that thread. When the challenge is over, I'll total up your pts and whoever has the most will win the 2nd chance. You still do the exercise and bonus pts just like you do here.

The good news for your team is that if those of you who are left keep up the good work, you stand a very good chance of coming in 1st place next week. So don't be discouraged!

You may be interested in what Kimberly has just posted to her own team. She has after all just analysed all the data.

All right Blackjacks, we've got some stiff competiton. The Blue Team is kicking ass. All but 2 of them got in all their exercise and bonus pts last week.
Since this week's pts (aside from the weigh in) are all received by exercise, let's make sure we get those 5hrs in. :hurray:
Our team would be wise to follow such advice. The Blue Team is indeed kicking ass. The Krinse on the blue team has lost 10 pounds. If we do not want to lose 3 members of the team next week - we should all try to get our 5 hours of exercise done.

After a busy day Friday (I did an exercise class and walked 13.95 miles) I have already done 4 hours. I will complete my 5 hours of exercise today. (Saturday).
 
After this week's eliminations, the teams are very close in adjusted pts. Red Team's chances of coming in first this week are very good if you all keep up the great work. :)
 
I am up at 7am and going to BOSU which is SUCH a good workout and THEN I am sticking iwth my 10k training and going to run 2-3miles!

I am SO kicking myself right now for the first week because I didnt realize at that time the points were cumulative and I knew I wasnt going to get booted and I let myself slip the last 2 bonus point days, thats 8 points I could have for us!!! UGH That's ok though looking from here we HAVE to get in our excercise for this week ladies or we're going to be a VERY small team (and I'll be gone by the looks of it--wah!!!)
 
Morning everyone...sad to see the three go...but I keep checking in on the 2nd chance thread. So far for this week I have 115 minutes in for exercise.

A little motivation for the weekend...

When you're willing to make an initial effort, you'll succeed sometimes. Take the next step, make a second effort, and you'll succeed more often.

If you're prepared to make a third, fourth, or fifth effort, you'll reach a much higher success rate. And when you commit to putting forth whatever effort is necessary, you will achieve whatever you choose.

Real and lasting success usually requires more than one attempt. If you make just a single attempt and then give up, you haven't given yourself much of an opportunity to achieve.

There is no reason to become discouraged if you fail to reach your goal on the first attempt, or even the second or third. For each effort, though it may not get you there, gets you closer.

Even an unsuccessful attempt gives you valuable knowledge and experience, and vastly increases the likelihood of success on the next attempt. When you continue getting closer each time, you surely and eventually will get where you intend to go.

The roads leading to the most beautiful places always twist and turn and double back on themselves. Keep making the effort, no matter what, and you will reach the beautiful places where you wish to be.

Wow this is the second time - Ive come close to almost being eliminated...my problem is im not loosing - Im exercising a fair amount and have been managing my bonuses...after being sick for awhile im sure I will have a loss but Im good in the exercise department and really hope I start feeling better soon or it will be a write off for me...

I am so upset to see that we are losing our soldiers. Good luck girls! Let's lose some pounds instead.

I am exercising very hard. I mean I put extra effort in the things I do and also I am very careful with the food as it is so important for me to see new low this week.

Please let's make it this week, lets grab all our points!
 
Thanks so much for the well wishes ladies. It was a pleasure being on your team :). Last week I just didn't feel like working out, even when I truly did have the opportunity a few times while at work (I could've easily gone at lunch but I was too comfy in my office to get off my a**). So you see its my own fault, whereas the weight you lose a bit more out of one's control (which is why you deserve to be here Relly). My bad. I'll try my best in the 2nd Chance Challenge and shall see you all there. Go Red Team!
 
ok I did a 2 hour workout today and ate very well even when hubby bought dessert and chips, I had 1 small bite of his dessert and 2 potato chips (can't eat just one LOL)! We aren't going out to eat until Monday so tomorrow wont be too bad but I am endulging in a margarita!

ok lets all get all our points because I am sure those other teams will!

We all indulge a little at times - so do enjoy yourself. I think that the main thing is moderation in all things and not using it as an excuse to get or stay off course. I am sure that is how I lost weight on Christmas week and the week including my own birthday.

oh and I have a ? about this site I am having trouble navigating through diaries, I tried looking up all on our team and seeing if they had a diary to get to 'know' everyone but all I coudl find was Blancita and Omega because I could see they had posted the day I was looking but I dont know how to look for things etc and what is the deal with 'tags' I didnt put any on mine and dont know how to use them.

also ? about fitday I am going to try counting calories 1-2days next week just to see because I have never done that and I am trying to add some foods I eat alot, one is a mixed organic herb salad greens and it has 15 calories..... I put in all its info and the dumb thing tells me based on its calculations it should have zero calories and wont let me put in what it is under my 'saved' foods thing.
