Psh... there are no pictures of me anywhere on this forum... well, except for my avatar. I don't do pictures.
 
If you are going to hang with us you are going to have to humiliate yourself accordingly...heck, I committed to posing in my flippin underwear for goodness' sake...
 
This afternoon didn't go exactly as planned. I did have a good lunch. Tuna and low fat mayo with onion on a wrap. Lots of protein. I didn't go biking. My wife had some time off for lunch so we went for a walk through the woods. Took about a half hour, but I have no idea how far we went. Then there wasn't enough time to go biking. I'm thinking of going running on my break.

Also, I only brought some yogurt and fruit for dinner, so it'll be pretty good if I can get some running in.

How's everyone else doing?
 
Still doing good. i am leaving work soon. Ate what I said I would for lunch minus the crackers- had no taste for them.
Hopefully I will get to the gym by 5 or so and do a good WT workout plus the elliptical for 30-45 minutes.
Probably just have a sandwich or something for dinner- do not feel like cooking.
 
I'm on track. I've not put one single thing in my mouth that is not supposed to be there. (Not one word, guys! Not one single word! :p) I'm munching on my grapes now and, really, I could do without them. I just don't want to be caught with hunger pangs at the wrong time and grab something I shouldn't. The hard part of my day is coming up - for some reason when I get home and start to relax I want to eat. I am determined to stay on track all day - and night - long! :D

Oh, how I wish I had the luxury of not cooking! Lol, with little ones you can't do the sandwich thing much. Thankfully, Mike knows how - and likes - to cook. :D I'm actually in the mood for some sweet tater fries again. What's up with that, I wonder?
 
How do you do the sweet potato fries? Have you tried the egg wash and Cajun seasoning?

I just cut em up, put a lil canola oil on a pan, and throw em into the oven to bake. I usually don't season them, but then I like the taste of them. And now that you mentioned that . . . I remember you posting that somewhere before. How is that done again? I may try that. Is the cajun seasoning spicy?

Ok, slightly off topic - should I work out tonight or not? I don't know if I am over-doing it w/this cold, which only really bugs me early and late...
 
Yeah, there was some post about making vegetables or something. I skip the oil and make an egg wash. (egg whites and water). I brush the cut up sweet potatoes with the egg wash and then shake on the Cajun seasoning. Yup, it's spicy, I like it spicy, so the kids aren't too crazy about it, but if I'm making it for me and for them, I only spice up half the tray.

Ok, slightly off topic - should I work out tonight or not? I don't know if I am over-doing it w/this cold, which only really bugs me early and late...

Do a truncated workout. Go in and do your squats. When you can't do any more at 90 with good form, drop it down to 75, then to 45, then do it with no weight. Don't rest between dropping the weights. You'll be done in about five minutes and you'll have given your legs one hell of a workout.

What's the egg wash for? Different flavor? Different texture? I can have eggs on core so this is doable for me. :D And I think I even have some cajun seasoning at home.

I feel fine right now, it is getting up in the mornings that I am having problems with...I just didn't know if I was overdoing things or not...
