This is my view in synopsis form:
In this situation one has to engage the mind or connect the mind to the signs of the body: remember the body can lie and tell you the truth.
Is the body just being lazy? (a form of a lie in telling you it doesnt want to--it doesnt like to change) or is it responding in this manner because of improper rest or improper diet function?
The fault here is disengaging the mind and allowing a potential lie to occur without using the mind to base it on facts.
For example, if the diet is right, and you have proper rest (from training), AND you have calories correct with WORK factored in, though still in a deficit (adequately),
THEN YOU KNOW the facts, and the body is resisting for many reasons.......you have to mentally be strong enough to step in and take over,,,,,,,,and knock this sucker out.
Take this thought: Isnt a deficit diet sort of forcing the body to FEED ON ITSELF FOR FOOD? Yes, it is.
Do you think you would SCREAM if you had to take a chunk out of your own arm?..(not to mention it would suck).......OF COURSE the body is gonna yell at you if your in a deficit diet.
EDIT: (think the body being in a MAJOR SUCKAGE ENVIRONMENT)
So sometimes (not all the time but for sake of argument), the body ISNT gonna feel like running or training:
Its in a deficit diet (hell its eating itself, doesnt have the normal energy required, etc), therefore, the strongest point on the body HAS TO BE THE WILL OF THE MIND to take over.......and tell the body I KNOW YOU CAN DO IT........and yes you feel like it.
And you know what?...........when you knock this sucker down........the body gets back and thanks you.........
NOW THATS SCREWED UP?.........LOL......

(its called body adapting, on the serious side)
see what I am saying?
