Wow. The kids are in bed/asleep. It's so quiet here. It's nice. And yet, w/o hubby here it's kinda creepy. LOL I am really sleepy, though, and cold, so I think I'm gonna head upstairs and get ready for bed. **shivers** yeah, I'm cold.

ehhh i dont like that song "like a virgin"
the only reason i know that song is because of this wacky game i had "donkey konga" and it had that song on it.

and i think the lady who marks the tardies marked in 2 tardies instead of 1 for me for some reason.
somebody/something made a mistake somewhere on the way...because i know i didnt get 3

What brought the first tardy? Just getting up late? or was it between classes?

(EDIT: I like the beat to the song like a virgin......but the words are completely DUMB, LOL. If you listen to it....it really makes little or no sense..LOL)........But Madonna had better ones. I even like some of MIchael jacksons EARLY stuff.....(Im just referring to his music early on (1984), not his bizarre behavior now)

Let me share something real quick: My son came home one day (he was 16 by the way at the time). He says, dad, I got a detention! (I know him well), and I said what was it for?

He said that he was looking over his quiz paper score, and remarked "That is Gay!", and the teacher gave him 3 days: 1 hour each day after school.

Dad's remark (for real): That is fricken gay!

We both busted up.....

After we laughed, he was still left with the 3 days of detention for a "Gay" reason (see the context gay is being used: it means stupid, dumb, etc)

I just gave him a multitude of choices and thoughts, and had him put things in proper perspective and make his choice. WHY? Because in life this is what happens when one goes on their own. And, it worked out well.
 
Okay cool.........Put the dentention in proper perspective.
