Hey Chillen...hope all is well with you on the home front, and that it's nothing serious that's keeping you away. Take care...we'll keep the light on for ya. :)

Yo Chillen

Just dropping in to say hope you're destroying your 'active rest' resistance sessions. I totally monstered a HIIT session today so wish you the same for your training as well.

Here's to stampeding towards our goals

Thank you, Kraken, Jackie, Xav, Marker, and Wojo, for your remarks.

I have been pretty busy the last couple days carting my Mother-in-law around to Doctor appointments (she is 75). She had some Cornia replacements a few months back that needed to be checked, and some dentures fixed.

I updated my avatar with a "relaxed" pic that I took yesterday (closeup). Friggen abs are huge and the vertical (center) line runs "over" 2 inches deep (thank you STRICT diet).

It gets pretty wicked when its flexed (which I am going to show). I am still sitting at 161 pounds, "about" 45" chest, 16" arms, about 25" legs, 16" calves, 29"-30" waist. My chest is rounder and fuller, and I gained about 2" on my legs.

I applogize for not posting the thoughts for the day the last few days. I have been busy. Additionally, I may have to go out to Atlanta this weekend and part of next week.

Best wishes

Chillen

****ing hell Chillen - those abs are bad ass.

The pics of yourself are telling me: Dude you are 24 years old what the f@ck are you waiting for to get in shape?

Always a pleasure reading your posts Chillmeister.

I focus on the entire body and they come along for the ride, baby. I dont F-ck around, and get things done. I am looking for "entire" body fitness and health--NOT getting huge.

And, you are correct, you DO have age on your side.......NOW GET WITH THE DAMN PROGRAM.......:)

EDIT: I may have to fly out to Atlanta this weekend and could be there part of next week on a business venture. If this happens, I may not be able to post much to the COL or on the board. I have always asked for a "stand in" when I had to go on trips before, but no one has volunteered to make the "thoughts for the day" posts while I am absent. I should know by 2morrow evening. If I have to go I will let you know. Do I have anyone that is willing to do the "thoughts for the day" (that strictly follows the "meaning" of this log) if I have to go? Let me know here in a post or PM......Thanks!

Best wishes,

Chillen

A "relaxed" quick pic as of July 21 (retake from the other day):

EDIT: I will also show the core flexed (which can get pretty whicked, and the vertical line can go inward about 2 inches deep), and a front view of the chest (which has improved a lot since the last pics), also the legs, back, calves, and arms. Still weigh only 161 pounds, but carry very little body fat.

Wow chillen, that is really impressive. It's amazing what can be accomplished when one stays focused on the positive. You're doing something right, keep doing it.

Just being "consistent" with training and diet, and working with what the last two years have "personally" taught me. My goal is "overall fitness" at this stage of my life. An attempt to properly develop my entire body (including cardiovascular fitness) and stay healthy lean, as I personally believe this will assist me as I grow older. I will not bulk again. I am most happy being extremely lean at a medium/large build. And, it seems my body likes it to (accept when I go low carb--it attempts to kick my arse...but it loses each time, without fail). I am the boss of my body and the biological feed back just instruct my educated mind on what to do---properly.

Thank you for your comment, SP.

As always, best wishes,

Chillen

haha great abs like always chillman!
your going to be 90yrs old and have a 8 pack still LOL

That's the plan! Stay lean, take the stress off my heart, make it heathy coupled with a healthy and strong body to support it.

Good to see you posting more in the forum, PB.

Hope all is well with you. How are your goals coming along?

Best wishes

Absolutely awesome work Chillen. Clearly you're the master of your own diet and fitness - that looks like the result of a lot of dedication and hard work, and i'm sure is motivation for a lot of people on here. I know it is for me.

All the best
