Weight-Loss The Amazing Race Challenge Omega-3 Team

Weight-Loss
Sorry I have not been here that much this week. The internet was acting all wacky on Tuesday so I couldn't get on to update anything and then of course we were gone all day yesterday and when we got home (at 10pm) I was just to tired. And I know myself well enough to know that I wouldn't just pop on quickly. I would end up being on here all night. And that would make for a bad day today.

Kimberly~
I did get all my exercise in between 1 hour of PowerCore, 2 hours of Fit for Life, and 3 hours of walking yesterday in Chicago. As well I will be doing another 1 1/2 -2 hours tonight of my Fit for Life. I plan to get there early to maximize my exercise times! LOL

Margaret~
I only need to eat 8 more ounces of Salmon and I'll have the challenge in the bag. That will be my lunch today and dinner today. As I did not eat any yesterday since we were traveling all day. But never fear I got this one! LOL

So if I have it figured out right, here's what we have:

M--9hrs 25min
B--6hrs
K--3hrs 23min
= 18hrs 48min

So that's 2min shy of what we need. If Bella gets in her 90-120min at Fit for Life tonight, we'll be well over what we need. But I might just get on my bike for a bit tonight so I don't feel so guilty. :D

It's kiwis for me this week. :D

Kimberly - I wouldnt blame you for doing 2 minutes of exercise just to be sure - just in case Dawn couldnt make it to her class because something cropped up. I am just the same like that (always expect something to crop up). I couldnt resist having an extra 2 ounces of salmon earlier on - just enough to increase my 14 ounces to 16 ounces in case something cropped up to prevent Dawn finishing the road block. I know that she has it covered - but I kept thinking things like - maybe it will help my weight. You know how much salmon we have in this house!

LOL
I am soooo glad that I got you guys on my team.
Right now I am just waiting to head off to that class of mine.
And of course I will have my last 4oz of Salmon for dinner tonight.
I am really hoping to come in tomorrow with at least a pound loss. If not more.
Even with eating Mexican last night I think that I have done pretty well this week.
And I too have chosen the Kiwi's.

Dawn - I think that we make a good team. I am glad to have you two too! How many 2s is that !!!

Good luck at the scales tomorrow.

You two do make an awesome team. I'm just kind of riding along on your coat tails..lol :blush5:

I still haven't gotten any exercise in..lol. When dad goes to bed I will get on my bike for a bit just to assuage some of my guilt. :smilielol5:

You better get some exercise in!!! LOL :smilielol5:
Not for the team mind you but for yourself! 'Cuz your gonna kick yourself in the bootah if you don't. You know you will.
Your to much like "M" and myself. You'll surely have guilt.
Sides that it will get all those baby making juices going! :sifone:

Tonight I had to choose between sex and exercise.

I chose exercise!!! :smilielol5::smilielol5:

30 min on the bike, 10.34 miles. :sifone:

The scale was most gracious this week!!!
I am down 1 pound!!!
Even with TOM!!
Now this week I am going to stick to my cals harder than I ever have. And next week better show a result.
Girls I am gonna need you to help me stay on track!
Catch ya later.

Congrats, Bella and Margaret for posting a lost during TOM time.

I am now back down to my ticker lowest weight of 219, giving me a lb loss for the week. This is the first time I've been back to 219 since I first hit it on Feb 22nd. It is only going down from there!! :smash:

I'm still waiting for 3 teams to update, but so far we're ahead of the Exercise Bunnies, so I believe we are safe.

I note that all of us have managed to lose weight this week. Well done. :hurray: A major achievement with TOM having hit all three of us at one stage or another during the week.
:party::party::party:

I know that we will all work hard and stay on track this week. Whether we get the weight loss that we deserve is another matter - but we will all do the hard work.

Kimberly - Well done for choosing exercise for our team yesterday. I bet that you will not make the same choice next Thursday. It might be a good idea for you to get the main of your exercise in before Wednesday to keep your time nice and clear for other activities.

Kimberly - We were typing at the same time. Also congratulations for getting back to your low weight.

LOL!

Yes, I'm glad choosing exercise over sex paid off..:biggrinjester:

I have already got in 31min from a walk today. I hope to get in some more tonight, but it'll be a busy afternoon/evening so I'm not sure.

I should be able to get in some walks over the weekend, as the weather is supposed to be warm enough, and no precipitation in the forecast. We actually got some snow overnight last night! :(

I have to say that I had forgotten how much I enjoy kiwi fruit. I have just added some more to the shopping list because I really cannot see myself limiting myself to one a day and I only bought the one punnet.

I hope that you are both enjoying yours too.

The new week's exercise is all going to schedule this end:
Friday - 3 hours
Saturday - 2 hours so far - I might get out again later - it all depends on how the afternoon goes.

I've had the first two kiwis I've eaten in a long time. I, too like them. Mine were a bit pricy, though--$2 for five of them. For that price, I can buy 2lbs of apples..lol.

Planning on getting in a hour long walk this afternoon. It's sunny and warmish outside--perfect. :)

Only 5hrs so far Margaret?? What a slacker you are! :biggrinjester:

Well done Kimberly. :hurray:

So far I have bought two punnets - each with 8 medium sized kiwis - one from Asda and one from Tescos. Both charged the same price £1.18. I normally pay £1.47 for a bag of 8 gala apples. The bag of apples is a lot bigger than the punnet of kiwi fruit though.

I am up to 9 hours now for exercise.

You're getting a better deal on the kiwis than I am, then. I'm paying one pound for 5 of the little buggers. :(

I did 21min on the bike, 32 minutes each of walking and my Turbo Jam ST DVD, so that puts me up to 3hrs of exercise now. :hurray: Margaret's done 3X as much. :D But this means I only have 2hrs to get in over the next 4 days.
