most of that was doen while watchign this weeks bigges loser. got damnit but i wish i was an american so i could vote.

GYM 70 mins worked out on 2 machines and played RACKET BALL for 20 mins wow thats a freaking workour..Tea for lunch plus I walked to and from gym and to and from baseball practice so 2 miles there 40 mins more total = 110 mins


WEDS going walking had the green tea alredy for breakfast this time.I will report mins later on the walk 90 min 4.5 miles plus cruncehes squats

Roadblock: make and eat Nelson Mandela’s favorite South African dish—umngqusho. Don’t even try to pronounce it. The recipe is below. Only one person per team needs to do this--and remember--if you've already done 2 roadblocks, someone else from your team must do it.

What you need
• 2 cups dry samp (broken hominy)
• 1 cup dry cowpeas (black-eyed peas) or any similar beans

What you do
• Combine samp and cowpeas in a large enamel pot or glass bowl. Add cold water sufficient to cover. Cover, and let stand overnight. Drain and rinse before cooking.
• In a large pot. Cover the soaked samp and cowpeas mixture with cold water. Bring to a boil. Let boil for ten minutes. Reduce heat. Add sugar beans, margarine, onions, potatoes, chillis and lemons. Simmer on low heat for one to two hours, until all is tender and the water is mostly absorbed. Add additional water during cooking if needed.
• Season with salt. Serve hot.

You must eat the whole thing by yourself. With the ingrediants other than the black-eyed peas and hominy, you can add as much or as few as you like--for example, if you don't care for spicy food, just add a tiny bit of chilis. Any questions? Just ask.
 
1 hour wednesday. *grumbles* guess who's arthritus hates her right now. my joints kill but as far as i know there's nothing really wrong with them so i'm gonna take pain killers today and get in the last of the workout I owe.

Hehe i can see so many more people complaining about this roadblock than i can over the green tea detour> in fact i can honestly see some people probably not trying it.

hehe you and i have both done doen a roadblock already so technically it's tammy's turn but if she's horribly offended by it we'll draw straws or something. plus i'm gonna research on line and see how it tastes

:svengo: I am cooking it now and will get the whole thing in before tomorrow I will have some for lunch with dinner snack and do the same tomorrow since I dont like 1/2 the ingrediants the spicer the better.So yeah I am having my 1st bowl here in a few I did the rince and soak overnight already lastnight so lets hope it taste good well editable lol.

I walked for 2 hours yesterday(120 mins 5 + miles) it was 70 beautiful and lol by sat and sun get this high 40 low 30 and they are using the freaking "S" word OMG I just put winter coats up for the kids lol go figure.

TOTAL MINS SO FAR EXERSICE 510 AND STILL HAVE TONIGHT AND TOMORROW!

I just have 15 mins to go for exercise - if it is nice out Im gonna walk one of our residents today - they all use wheel chairs when out - I am good for about 45 mins:)
 
TY girl and GL with the 45 mins yeah everytime I go to text ya on my walk I swear some drama happeneds and I whind up texting 2-4 peeps at once and I am not good at texting LIMIT 2 lol!! hahaha GIRRRL I hope this stuff turns out lol
 
hehe there's still one more roadblock left so someone will end up doing two. we'll see what it is when it comes though.

today was the last day for exercise and i got one hour and 45 mins in = 428 overall.

thank god friday is my rest day because my hip and ankle are being basterd again.

as of wednesday i'd lost .7lb i think and i haven't touched the scale since but i don't expect a lot better than that when i weigh in friday. ( never could figure out why workours must be finished by thursday but we can weigh in friday)

we did good this week girls.

expect me to be a bit crazy next week. i have 6 and a half weeks lefts to lose like 15lbs so i can fit into my costume for a convention. it's very stressing.

Well I managed a 1 lb lose - it is so hard for me to loose weight it sucks...frustrating when I watch everyone else around me loose so much more...oh well , what can I do...

Im gettin tired of exercisin over 6 hrs a week...at least Im off work for a bit here so it will be easier. I work 10 hr shifts and worked for 8 days straight last week, it was really hard to get my exercise in...

How was your week Jessica was this the stress week or the next few weeks coming up - what is your costume ? Are you a Trecky ???

nah i'm relativly unstressed right now. may will be stressfull.

No I'm not a trekkie (laughs) I'm an anime ( think sailor moon) fan and i'm going to a convention at the end of may. I'm cosplaying as my favorite character from death note ( which is decidedly more mature and dark than sailor moon) it's simpl e costume of jeans and a long sleeve t-shirt but i have to add some makeup to pale my skin and i need to style my hair like his.

weight loss i managed a .8 this week. not much to write home about but i have plans for next week.. don't worry about the exercise as much cerella next week i plan to work my ass off and ,maybe even try for the 50% thing.

i feel weird right now becuase i'm steadily dropping the weight but i dunno i look in the mirror and i don't see it anywhere.
 
Jessica...Im glad your not a trekky - ha ha ha - and we dont always see our loses ourselves that is why we have family and friends :)
 
lol i watch star trek but i dunno i could never go as far as trekkie's go.

I mean sure I love anime it's fun to watch and yeah i cosplay but it's not like i'm thinking i am a character. I do it for the fun of putting on a costume and hanging out with people who have similar interests. you go for the fun and to see new things.

i think of anime cons as like mini disneyland for anime fans. our cosplay is like mickey ears or disney char t-shirts. it's all part of the atmosphere but isn't like a religious obsessive sort of thing ( though like all groups we have our crazies)

hehe fiancee says i'm losing weigh and she can see it. i still think she's biased.

Well ladies it is my bday weekend...hahaha - Thank god I have a week till next weigh in...I drank my face off yesturday and ate every single meal out...

Breaky was McD's
Lunch was Swis Chalet
Dinner was Boston Pizza

and this morning breaky at Ricky's HAHAHA and lots of cake...

Im gonna focus on my free foods and low foods ... at least that is the plan and lots of exercise of course...

Today I did 1.5 mins of gardening and walked the dog for 30 mins.
 
hobbies are good yes.

lol have fun on your bday and be sure to drink lots of water that should help offset the massive sodium intake you've just done.

2 hours excericse today

1 hour was walking interspersed with jogging the route to the post office ( the longest safe area i know i can cover without getting lost)weather was nice so it wasn;t too hot or cold when i went.

1 hour ddr i stuck to the harder songs i knew and tried the one boss songs i always fail a few times. the system is set on play till song ends mode so even if i'm failing the song i keep trying and working out untill the song ends. leaves me dripping sweat every time.

dropping my calories to 1300 this week due to screwups with groceries and stuff. i can't control my protein and sodium intake with what i'm left to eat so i'm just limiting how much i can eat.

8cheers for team* we're doing really well ands i hope we can keep up the good work.

Extra bonuses? all i knwo if you need the whole think to get the 10pts i think it is that we earn for it.

90 mins today , not in the best mood and not really in the mood to move. fiance forced me to go for a run and and do a short ddr session.

i'm tired hungry and cranky damit.

:leaving:YESTERDAY BAD BAD day dunno what happend but I had 3 pieces of pizza then that night I craved TACO BELL chicken quesadillas then ran to store to get a MINI ben and jerry cookie doe ice cream and a reeccee cup and a couple truffles lol yeah TOM on his way..well actually WEDS and I usually deal with this but geeeeesh.lol I woke up had 2 pop tarts and pizza then I said what am I doing so I ate nothing else except bannah and when I ate the bad stuff it was around 2 so plenty of time to burn I also went to gym today and did 90 mins of cardio no ab stuff cuz my tummy so sore when I cough from the day before lol.OK NIGHT
