I've been doing great with the water and getting lots of exercise in due to not working this week. My weight loss has slowed down as well. I was losing 4-5 LBS per week and so far I'm only down 0.4 this week. I knew it wouldn't last forever but I'm going to still keep on with my plan. Plus I have not smoked a cigarette since yesterday morning and I'm feeling great. I like the exercise challenge as well..............lets keep up the good work team.....
 
Well I'm out of the exercise rut and I did an hour on the elliptical plus 15 mins of work with wrist weights. :)
 
Hows the mini challenge going?? Drinking that water??? While i have been drinking SO much more water than normal, I'm finding it almost impossible to get in that full 3.5 liters! yuck! lol You guys having luck with it?

Does anyone have any suggestions for next weeks mini challenge?

Yeah, I'm failing at the mini-challenge. It's really hard to drink so much water! Haha. But hey, it's still motivating me to drink a lot of water, so it's all good. :D

I like KYNT's idea for the mini-challenge. You could also do something similar to this week with eating a certain amount of fruit and vegetables?

Anyway, I'm having a terrific week. All the weight loss that didn't happen last week appears to be happening this week. :D I'm at 266.4 this morning so, assuming I don't gain at all by Sunday, that's about 5 lbs down. :D Please please please don't gain, body. PLEASE. :D I'm also up to 6.5 hours of exercise so far. I haven't been doing quite as much as last week but I think I was pushing myself too much because my knees were hurting, so I decided to be a bit gentler on my body this week.

Good job everyone and keep on pushing forward! :)
 
Gah... totally failed at the mini challenge last night. Also failing as the exercise this week so I'm sorry my angels. But it IS a 6 week challenge and I can make this up for you :D

Plus I'm going to try and drown myself in water today. Wheeeeeeee!!!
 
Hey, don't sweat it team!! It was a TOUGH challenge!!! KNYT is right...its a 6 wk challenge, we'll have our good weeks and our bad...but we'll get there together!!

haven't checked in for a few days, yep I'm not quite making the full target on the water but still drinking more than usual so thats good, have done 5 days of exercise this week and going to hit the gym this afternoon to get in at least one more hour, maybe two!! Had a night off last night and had popcorn and chocolate with a movie but have been much better at food this week so hopefully will all balance out, I'm really trying to focus on this being a 6 week challenge!! hope everyone has a good final day of the week and will see you all tomorrow for the weigh in!!!
 
oh knyt - or anyone who is thinking about running/jogging, I'm definately no expert yet, but best piece of advice I got and its working for me is to take it nice and slow, don't try to jog too fast or you will be tired after a minute or two
 
Tomorrow is the end of week 2!!! How are we all doing???? I hope we're having some fun and losing weight too!!!

The water mini challenge is over tonight and if you didn't make your goal, don't sweat it!! That was one tough challenge!!! This weeks mini challenge is this....SQUATS!!! 10 minutes of squats a day! Now, this is going to be based on your own knowledge of your body. For me, doing squats is gonna be hard, so I"m going to do two 5 minutes sessions. Also, if squats are something your used to...add weights...mix it up! This mini challenge is brought to you by TEAM CREPUSCULO!!

Team Eclipse, you can choose next weeks mini challenge!!! Let me know by next saturday what you chose.

Went on a terrific hike today so my exercise for the week is up to 10.5 hours. :) We'll see how the weigh in goes tomorrow.

Yay, had a little weightloss, course its not as big as I wanted but I'm accepting that this is going to be a slow journey, one big challenge for me is realising that a week has SEVEN days, my diet has fallen apart the last two weekends, and I'm gonna make a bigger effort to cut out the 2/3 snacks a day I started having this week. Also aiming for >7 hours exercise next week.

Well I failed on the exercise portion of last week. But weight loss was decent overall :)

I can notice my jeans getting looser yay!

Oh god 10mins of squats. I think I might also split it 5 and 5. It's workable :D

Yes, 3.5 lbs is a terrific loss! Good job. :)

And I know completely how you feel about those squats. It's 8:30 PM and I'm still putting today's squats off. I'll do them about 10 minutes before I go to bed at this rate. :D
 
I'm still working on my goals for the team even if I haven't been around much lately. I haven't smoked a cigarette since last Tuesday so one week smoke free so far. Also its been so hot lately I just have not felt like sitting around on the computer. Our fridge went out Monday so now everything in it is spoiled which has really sucked. Can't get a new one til friday due to working long hours and not having time to pick up the truck. I hope everyone is doing good and seeing some success whatever form it may be in. The mini goal this week has been hard due to the heat but Iv'e been pushing through and getting it done. The scale this morning showed I went up 5 LBS geesh I can only think it has to do with the heat and water weight. Well good nite til next time......
 
MRG....congrats on quitting!!!! As a former STNA, I can't tell you what a miserable experiance it is to die of lung cancer...soooo sad! I'm so happy to hear your taking charge!!!

We've been pretty quiet this week so far, no?

Squats are going alright and I'm upping my resistance exercises anyways.

Things are a bit blah this week.
 
looks like I might be waiting for monday to weigh in as 'aunt flo' is here and I feel like i weigh an extra 30lbs!

Ah... it's been a strange week. I haven't worked out quite as much this week because I was too busy on Sunday and I was sick as a dog on Tuesday, so not including today, I'm at 6 hours for exercise. But I'll do about two hours today and then another two hours tomorrow and that'll bring me up to 10 hours total. Plus I'll have a couple of points for the mini-challenge and I estimate I'll have lost about 3.5 lbs max (2.6 lbs at this point). Last week was better, but this week is okay, I guess. :)

Oh bad bad week for me, have only got in 3 hours of exercise so far and I have eaten more chocolate this week than I have in the last month, dreading weigh in on Sunday, was going to completely avoid it, but I think I need to see where I'm at on Sunday and get back to basics again....sorry folks, have been a terrible team player this week. I dunno whats wrong with me, just lost my motivation.

I will get in TWO hours exercise on Saturday plus the mini challenge.
