Doing okay today, decided to call in sick from doing the cab thing (sanity day), and I'm going to do stuff for me today. including picking up some cold weather cycling supplies so that I can get back out on the road early to start training. I'm planning on doing a metric and standard century this year (62 and 100 miles), so I want to start doing some serious training early involving some hills.

Diet has been good.
 
Took DD to the kids gym hours so was busy doing various activities with her for 1.5hrs but only counting it as 45min since it wasnt intense and then I did another 45 on my own plus 20 in the sauna. Looking to see ANYTHING below 155.0 on tuesday!
 
Hey team---just wanted to let you know that I have spoken to Claudia and dropped out of the challenge. She said it would be okay and she'd just avg out the points so it wouldn't affect any of you. When I joined, I didn't realize that it would still be going on a week after my hip surgery. I am keeping up with eating/exercising, but I've been so busy running around taking care of pre-op stuff that I haven't logged in much. My surgery is across the country from where I live so it's been a bit hectic. Just wanted to let you all know and wish you luck!!!! I'll be back around a copule weeks post op!

83-wow, that's big stuff. Thanks for letting us know. I wish you the best and hope that your improved health from all hard work you have been doing pays off in recovery time. Best wishes.
 
I just edited column "F" in the spreadsheet to add in week 5 points. You should notice a big bump in your cumulative points. Sorry, I must have been asleep at the wheel last week when I added in week 5 (forgot to update the cumulative formula to include week 5). Anywho, we are all good to go now!!

I also did that "happy weight" calculator and it pissed me off because it was below my goal. lol. And my goal IS LOW! hahaha. Oh well. I'm sure I'll ba happy even before I get to my goal anyway.

OMG THANK YOU! im in teh same boat! i want to be 130 and my "happy weight" is 121!!! i mean yeah id love to eb 121 but GEEZE! its basically telling me that im still gona be unahppy at 130 haha DARN
 
Hi team,

I'm back at work full time now, so not as much time to check in with everyone.

I'm sticking religiously to my eating plan, and loving it! Exercise is going great, averaging about 4 and a half hours per week, it is hot as heck here at the moment so I am very proud of myself for sticking to the exercise plan!

Hope everyone else is doing great!

Tru-I'll take your heat over our snow LOL, actually it has been warm here too and the snow has been MELTING yeah! HOpe it 'cools down' but only for you not us LOL.

Michelly & Olux-I am sure that your 'happy weight' is low because you are so young? I think mine was 5lbs lighter just last year LOL. I would also play around with your frame size and the number of days you are willing to work out to see what that does. It was just for fun dont let it piss you off. Or perhaps I am shooting for my 'goal' of 140 and THEN evaluating to see if I need more tone, less weight, or a combo, that might be an idea too. Sorry, LOL.

I am taking my weight from yesterday, today is up 3lbs but I know it is from all the fiber yesterday as my tummy is bloated. I met my first mini goal of being 1/2 done by end of challenge so my new goal is to be down to 152 by end challenge, agressive, especially considering we have a church thing with goodies tonight, a work pub outing next day, valentines lunch with hubby friday, and an inevitable shipment of goodies from MIL on saturday BUTTTTT I am going to try and plan ahead for a treat from each of those and compensate in calories the rest of the day.

BONUS CHALLENGES FOR FINAL WEEK

1. 5 points for each additional hour of exercise over the standard 4 hours, up to a max of 3 hours.

2. 5 points if you post your daily food in a separate food posting thread that I will create.

3. 5 points if you post at least 5 times in your chat thread on 4 different days.

4. 5 points for 5 or more daily 1/2 cup servings of fruit or veggies.

5. 5 points for eating 2/3 of your goal weight in protein.
 
Wow! That's a lot of bonuses!

I was hoping that I could some how get a google spreadsheet like the one we are using so that I could keep using it after this challenge. It REALLY helps me!!

yeah! i love it so much! i wish tehres a default one we could just use over and over again to track our stats!
 
Just checking in, it will be mostly a rest day for me today but hopefully food will stay on track :)

Agreed!! I tried to make my own but I'm not as spreadsheet savy as the creator of this one. Mine's plain but I guess it'll work. I also have no idea how to calculate and put in formulas. lol.
