Wow Melissa! Excellent news for you and our team! I dont know where you get the stamina to put in 8 hours though.. 6 has been my max. I best bring my gym clothes tomorrow to work and actually try to get more than my usual 5. Thanks for pushing and motivating us with your drive :).
 
Team, I reached an all time low for me today. 142.0lbs. I'm so excited about being this close to the 130's. I have not been in the 130's in over 4 years!! It is so close I can taste it. I guess the 8hrs of exercise last week paid off!!

A new all time low!!! WOW that amazing!! Congrats!!

Well I wouldn't say I have stamina...it's more like an inner drive. I'm constantly yawning and feel a tad tired most of the time. Even upset a date on Sunday by yawning several times during the date...I couldn't help it, I was f-ing exhausted!!!

I've committed myself to these upcoming triathlons and am putting in the training time needed to be successful. I want to do well and that is what drives me. This morning I had to leave my house at 5:30am to get to my swim lesson at 6am...there was ice on my car and I so wanted to go back inside and go to bed. But...I didn't and I went to my lesson. I'm so glad I did. I learned to breathe equally on both sides during my freestyle stroke and I also learned the flip turn in the lap pool. Cool shiz.

The plus side is that I am seeing some great results in my body and I can typically eat a little bit more and still lose weight from all of the exercise.

I think the all time low came from the increase in activity coupled by the ban on alcohol...margaritas were my downfall. Now I'm watching my weight fall!! OOOUUU!!

Well Melissa motivated me WOOT WOOT! I just did the only 20 mins I could squeeze out on the elliptical after a long day (that we have ALL had I realize so no excuse hehe). I figure if I do 20 mins every evening and at least an hour in the day starting Wed, I could actually get the 7 hours of exercise for this week's max points.

Just finished my 5 servings of veggies: 1/2 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup strawberries, 1 and 1/2 cup cauliflower.

GO TEAM! LET'S FINISH OFF STRONG :).!
 
I'm building a grace period into items 4 and 5 above so you need to eat your protein and veggies 6 out of the 7 days of the week rather than the whole 7 days. This way if people dont see the challenge posting today they wont miss out, and people wont be de-motivated from one lil slip up.

...I'm HOPING for at LEAST one lb.....PLEASEEEEE!!! I've been drinking tons of hot tea, and water, and oh man....PLEASE!!!

I currently go to Bally's ...but they close at 12:00pm , so I printed an La Fitness thing, and same THING...12:00pm...UGGG...and 24 hours I printed that too...and UGGGGhhh.....same thing.....I can't go after 9:00 with the free pass :cry:...........GOSH, DON'T THEY SEE that I just WANNA WORK OUT HARD & LATE!!!...it's SO Easy to work out at night there with the MASSIVE bright lights....:eek:.....

...I guess I'll have to settle for little ol Bally's for an hour....:( :cry:

...I want to finish STRONG this challenge....sooooo EXTRA workouts it is!!! :)

I haven't weighed in yet, but I'm hoping for a good number... I really think the changes I've made have really made a total difference. I feel so energized its great!

Today is a no exercise day for me... been a long one and I am going to be waking up early to go to pilates tomorrow and I'll get zumba in there too, so at least I have a plan for sometime soon :D

Ok guys I need some help getting more calories and consequently more protien in my meal plan for today. I'm only at like 1041 calories and 65.5 g of protien and i need 1800 calories and 87g protien! ususlly i would add some chips or something before bed to fill in the huge chunk missing but I want to do better... I have my plan laid out in the food diary thread, Any ideas would be appreciated! :D

I recently switched to a higher protein diet getting a min of 130g/day and I've found some low fat cheese sticks are good, yogurt, nuts, jerkey, larger amounts of either chicken, turkey, or beef. From what I understand turkey has the highest protein per oz ratio and you can also supplement with a low cal, low carb protein... Whole foods mades a soy protein that I liked.... And the list goes on!

thanks! unfourtunately i dont have any of those things hanging around right now. i'll have to send H to the grocery store tonight... for now i think ill have to throw in a protien shake... as long as the powder i have isn't expired... i'm assuming it expires just not sure how quickly :S
