Quick update here....

Ran 4 miles in 57 flat yesterday... felt awesome. Walked 3.3 miles today with my client (who happens to be my Mom :)), we are prepping for a 5k race next weekend.

wow I can't wait to be able to do something like that...I keep trying to remind myself that i have to take it slow and I will get better... Still a little unsure wether my treadmill is in Km or miles. Trops was saying that he thinks its miles because 2 km is only 1.2 miles (i was worried if maybe i just walk really slow with my short legs) then last night i asked my mother in law because she has one also. she believes its in Km because my 2/? is faster then hers... i think she might have been confused now that i think about it because miles/hr are faster then km/hr lol
anyway in order to not rack my brain over it I'm trying not to compare myself to all you experienced runners and just imporve my personal best, which is hard to do when your always wondering if you should be pushing harder... right now i do 2miles? per hour for about 30 minutes and most recently started adding intermittent jogging at 2.5 ish for a few minutes here and there... ugh i hate not knowing wether i'm doing things the way i should :willy_nilly:
 
Well, Im doing better than I though and it looks like i will get my exercise in:)

I forgot tha ti did 20 mins wii fitt on Friday and I did 40 mins last night so that leaves me with only 60 mins left which I should be able to accomplish.

I will see how I feel as the day goes on...Ive had a headache for days tha twont give and dizzyness, which is why no exercise on top of feeling like crap.

Saw 136.0 on the scale this morning. I should see 135 by weigh in next week and hopefully be down at least another pound by the final. I've decided that I have at least another 15 or so pounds to lose.... at least.

DOING IT!!! Dee you are such an inspiration lady!! Are you going to be the first to 135lbs in our 135 or bust thread? I'm so happy for you. Great job on the running yesterday!! Sounds like your Mom is doing the 5K with you? How fun!!

You ladies are so lucky you actually HAVE boobs!!! I just recently found ADULT bras at V's Secret that fit me! You know, it's really nice being able to wear one that doesn't have Hello KItty or the days of the week on it. LOL!

Let's hear it for A-cups!!

Just weighed in and i am down 3.8 pounds...almost 4 pounds for the week!! YAY ME!!!

I had set a goal of 3 pounds for the week and i met it!!!

i am not sure if the sheet calct my total correctly for the 5 weeks...hmmmmm...

Well I'm doing a 12 week halfer training program, but it ups the mileage a little too fast for me.. so I turned it into a 24 week program doing each week twice. I'm in week 4 meaning a second round of week 2... if that makes any sense...

All in all it adds up to.

2 mile tempo run Tuesday
3 mile tempo run Thursday
4 mile long run Satruday
EZ 2.5 miles Sunday


However there the fam is doing a 5k walk/run Saturday so I might push my long run to Sunday.

hmm as i was stripping down to take a shower this afternoon decided to hop on the scale.... what did i see????... 195! Say what? yes 195... after losing consistantly 1 pound a week im looking at a 2 lb loss and were only half way through the week... i had decided not to change my ticker when i saw 196 because i didnt believe it... i figure my lack of water consumption has lead to it... im still suspicious of this 195 so i refuse to change my ticker until i have a few consistant days of drinking more then a bottle a day lol... sure did feel good to see the number anyway...
....DON'T KNOCK IT, JUST ROCK IT!!! :D!!!....i say TAKE IT...:D!!!! YEAAA!!!! Congrats on those 2lbs...maybe MORE!!! :D!
 
OK, well yesterday I didn't do so well either. I had large meals and then a snack at one point so I dont get my points for Saturday either. I did get in 30 minutes of elliptical but that was such a struggle, I was feeling so lazy.

Today, Sunday, I am doing a lot better and feeling much more committed. Time to work it up for our last days of the challenge. I already got in 1 hour on the elliptical before 9am. WOOT WOOT (I even said that at the end as my daughter asked me why I'm up there on the machine). I plan on sticking to my meal plan and minimizing my portions, which have been quite large this weekend.

Let's get it in gear team!
awww....don't worry woman!!:grouphug: ! I messed up this weekend eating one of those days too!! :banghead:......as long as we are RIGHT BACK on is all that matters...and THAT WE AREn'T eliminated too!!!....LOL....

Well my calories have been on target this past week bit I have to make up 2 hours of exercise by tuesday. This past week was a little hectic since I was spending all my free time studying for three tests I have tomorrow. I still have tons of studying to do but I plan on breaking long enough to get the workouts in today. I may take Bella to the gym with me since Sean is in OH visiting my SS.

I've been so busy that it has been hard to keep my motivation up. I used to have a set schedule but since I quit my job and went back to school, I can't seem to get used to the new schedule. Less than 4 hours of exercise is not me at all and I am ashamed that I have been so lax lately with it all. I need to put my exercises toward the top of my priority list again so I'm not "catching up" each week. I have been WAY MORE active since quitting my desk job and was hoping I'd see results on the scale because of this. NOPE! I walk everywhere now and am always running with Bella at the park or local Jump Zone.

My doc still hasn't returned my call about the thyroid tests and I'm getting really pissed off. I had to go off the meds cold turkey almost three weeks ago and I have felt like shit since. I can't sleep, my energy levels have changed, I can't concentrate. Grrrr!
:hug2: AWWW ....I know how you feel ....this past week, I thought I was working hard, but my pants still feel the same...NOT ONE BIT LOOSER, and that sucks...cause it will most likely reflect in the scale this week as well as little loss.....BUTTTTT we still have MORE TIME!!!!

...don't worry little lady...and KEEP CALLING YOUR DAMN DOCTOR....he'll get back at you soon....:iagree:!!!.....and SOON you'll see ...you're going to have a BIG LOSS DAY!! ;)

..great job though on all the working out and walking....AS LONG AS WE ARE DOING THE ACTIONS...the results WILL FOLLOW!!! :iagree:!!!
 
I've been exercising 5 days out of the week, trying to keep it varying, pilates, yoga, bike, and Jillian Michaels, and Hoola Hoop....!!! I am feeling stronger in a lot of areas, like my back and my arms, and the sides of my abs :D....and NAKED :eek:...i can tell a little loss too...and A tiny bit in my LEGS...(those are hard to go)!

...ALL OVER I GUESS....HAHA....I was getting frustrated to see how fast others are losing on the other team...buttt....I AM HAPPY NOW :)....as I know mentally this will take adjusting to get used to ANYWAY....and to train MYSELF in my new LIFESTYLE....as an ATHLETE!!! ;) (positive affirmations GUYS ...LOL :D!)....it's like when they say.....

....GIVE A MILLION DOLLARS TO A POOR MAN, and HE WILL LOSE IT EVENTUALLY.... because he wasn't TRAINED to be a millionaire, he couldn't handle the HARD WORK IT ACTUALLY TAKES TO MAINTAIN SUCCESS!!!

..I want it...BUT I WANT TO KEEP IT too....!!! :iagree:!!!....slow and easy does it....as LONG as I'm doing the ACTIONS....THE RESULTS WILL FOLLOW!!!

...(oh and that day I got no points...:reddevil: I ATE A FREAKING DONUT) :banghead:...........now that that is over....BACK TO SMOOTH SAILING :auto:
 
11 miles on my recumbrant bike:D

Im pleased with this and i got in all my exercise this week.

I have two days that i didnt make it diet wise so no extra 50 points or w/e for me:(

Im feeling better!!!

Plus I forgot how wobbly the legs get after using the bike, lol!
 
So long story short, I made it back to the gym (complications are posted in my diary).

Got in 35 mins on the bike, 25 mins weights, and 30 minutes on the elliptical.

Plus the hour of pilates that I already posted about earlier today.
