So my husband finaly bought me some floor finish so i can shine up my floors that i have been asking for him to get for like... months... I'm really contemplating taking my tomorrow afternoon (my normal workout time) and using it to get at least some of my floors done... It's just the only time I have where there is NO ONE to get in the way...
It wont hurt my points since I always get a minimum of 1 hr and 20 minutes on days that I work out but I sort of feel guilty taking a day off when it's not because i'll drop dead if I don't...
I'll admit I'm also in hurry bc I can't wait to have super shiney floors :p

I jumped rope tonight for an hour. My calorie counter stopped at 999 cal, so I think it counts as a killer.

Well I know you seen my 3.8 lb loss on the spreadsheet but I wanted to tell you I also lost 8 inches!! Yay! That made me more excited than anything!! And I'm so HAPPY team 1 won the first week!! We need to keep it up for the 2nd week too!! (and every one that follows..lol) Go Team!!

Thanks guys. It's amazing what cropping out some of my worse features makes look good, hahaha.

Didn't do a whole lot at the gym today, 21 minutes on the arctrainer and 25 minutes of weights. I took my friend who I think is going to try to get a membership if she can find a way to afford the initiation costs... problem with that is that she's one of my best friends, and my roommate who I try to get to go to the gym with me hates her. Kind of a tricky situation. Anyyyyway.

Food good, some exercise done. Yay.

My roommate and I left a movie tonight and she wanted to go get a cake... just because she can. So I take her to Smith's and sit there and watch her buy a cake, a can of soup, and a cheeseball which she's gorging herself with downstairs as I type this. Argh. Whatever.

Okay mark me for a 947 cal deficit today. I've had a huge sinus headache all day so I only walked during my lunch break... 25 mins and I was fighting the urge to run but I walked very briskly in the 38 degree weather mind you... but it turned out to be a great break from work... usually I just sit in the lounge and eat my lunch then go back to my desk early.... I think I will start making it a part of my daily routine... I would run but I don't want to come back all sweaty ya know?

Looks like everyone is doing well!!! I've been researching running plans to kick myself into high gear...distance is the name of the game and I think I'm going to start a 1/2 marathon program Thursday.... I feel like running is the ONLY thing thats going to make my disgusting legs disappear... or at least I'm hoping.

PS Stephen is standing over me eating chocolate mint ice cream MY FAV and I politely said no and shook my head... and I won't lie... it was not EASY!!!! And now he is laughing... damn skinny men!!!!

Great job avoiding the treats teammates! Keep the motivational stories coming! I need them after last night's little 500 calorie binge on crackers and a few Starburst candies. Ugh. I feel so full right now and its the next day. I ended up with 2180 calories, and I have another dinner to go to tomorrow, this time with my clients. Luckily they chose a french restaurant and I hate french food, though I do love the wine, deserts, bread and I'm sure there will be something tasty as an entre somewhere on the menu--I will certainly try hard not to overdue it but restaurant food is SO fattening! I better be really strict on all the other days..starting today..

Great job getting the exercise in! What's so disgusting about your legs? I'm sure they look much better than you think!!

My husband is slim as well. He's 5'9" and weighs 150lbs. Damn him! He was complaining last month that he gained 5lbs. He laid off the fast food at work and it came right off. Grrr! I've eaten super healthy for years and rarely go over my calorie limit, plus I run and workout religiously every week and NADA! I should spike his ice creamer with something to make him gain!

Just add another workout into your schedule and burn off the extra cals. Don't worry about it though, the weight is coming off! Good luck at the restaurant tonight.

DAMN!! An hour on the jump rope?!? You're my hero... Jumping rope is a bitch and it kills my knees.

You know, back years ago before I got pregnant with my daughter I was a personal trainer and lived a very healthy lifestyle (just like now but with extra poundage), and even then I didn't eat crap like that. I don't understand why some think that because your thin it's okay to eat stuff like that. If they'd give it a chance, I'm sure they'd feel soooo much better with a healthier lifestyle. Give veggies a chance!!!
 
Soo, now that I'm caught up on other people's comments, I need to post yesterday's progress. I hit the gym again last night even though it was my off day. I was retaining fluid like crazy and felt gross so I went to sweat it out! I did an hour straight on the elliptical on the highest incline with the difficulty at 12 (6.2 miles) and torched 650 calories. I then hit the weights for 20 minutes followed by 8 minutes of stretching. I burned a total of 800 calories according to my HR monitor!! This was after an entire days cleaning, cooking, and chasing my daughter around. Great workout! Calories were at 1500 for the day as well!!
 
Awesome job Amy! I cannot imagine an hour straight on the elliptical. I do it in 15 minute stints. Too boring and tiring! haha
 
Hey Guys! just weighed in this afternoon and am down to 200 lb exactly... I am but day(s) away from Onederland!
I no Longer feel bad that I'm skipping this afternoons workout to polish my floors as I've spent all mornign moving furniture and fending off kids and am exhausted and sweaty but i will not finish until it's done... did I mention my entire house has hard floor (aside from area rugs). Not ideal for a person who likes things warm and fuzzy but at least they'll be shiney! On the upside the kids are out of the way now and it should be a little more stress free...
Better get started I only have a few hours to myself to get as much done as possible... just wanted to share my news :)
