Hmmm, I'm at work and can't look at the brand and I can barely remember how much they were--I want to say $75. I'll get back to this...
I found the exact same thing when I hopped off my treadmill and went outside. I think all you can do is just keep exercising on the track. Or if nice outside.. because you'll be on pavement - that's another transition! I just ended up sucking it up and doing it.. and taking nice hot baths at the end of the day. Now, I miss being able to go outside because I found it passes the time faster. I also lost my mp3 player so I'm tuneless! But keep it up.. I want to get myself into a 5k as soon as I can but I think it'll be somewhere in July.
...I should join this club.
Just keep it up - you'll feel great once you finally get goin'.
I did run today (treadmill because it's -36 outside) but I only got in 1.5 miles. It's my second time running in MONTHS so I don't think it was tooo too bad.
Please Do ! The more the merrier.. Are you an indoor or outdoor runner.. we need some tips for transitioning between the two. Pavement is hard on the legs!
Running is truly my first love in life so I thought it fitting to park myself at this thread for awhile.
the last time I got out an ran was in November and I'm going through serious withdrawls. I usually take my girls out during the day (once daylight savings hits) but its so cold that isn't working anymore. Then by the time dh gets home from work its dark and isn't to safe for me to go out on the roads. So for now, I am chasing my dd's (3 1/2 and 2) around and just recently purchased a DVD to try to get moving inside until it gets warmer.
I plan on figuring out a training schedule for a 1/2 marathon for the fall. Not there yet.
Glad to be among fellow runners.
