Rebel's Diary

Man why is the sun so bright???????aw well welcome to a brand new day :)

Try some herbal tea rebel, if you haven't already. I love Nerada Peppermint. I started drinking herbal tea, when I stopped adding milk to my hot drinks & now I rarely have black tea. I don't much like the fruity ones though.

I have seen the herbals but never tried any. My fav tea is earl grey. To me its strong and almost coffee like.
I found a tea place in houston that sells loose tea by the ounce. They have all kinds some with orange or peach peel added olso teas ive never heard of b4. That means id have to buy a tea pot though. Hmmmm.......

Went out to the family ranch this morning. Grabbed a sandwich along the way but it was a huge carb hit. I cleanned it up the best i could and used wheat bread light mayo but still.

Yay for tea :) I don´t drink black tea anymore either, just because I stopped liking the taste. Don´t worry about that sandwich though (other than your blood sugar): you´re still way under sustainable calories.

I checked my blood sugar a few hours after the sandwich. It really didnt affect it much. Im just trying to stay away from it as much as possible. Breads pastas raw sugars were always my go to food when i was having a bad day or just wanted some inner comfort. 2-3 sandwiches throughout the day as snacks. Super sweet tea and sodas and candy. Potatoes and pasta any way i could get it.
Since im really not on one of the mainstream diets i can still have those things. Im just real strict oh how often. So its the little changes im having to get use to. Whole wheat breads, wheat pasta or no yolk egg noodles. Raw sugar; absolutely none. At least no raw sugars that i would add myself.
Its just an adjustment
;)

Well I've been more active in the last couple of days. Yesterday i went out to the ranch to put some feed out for the deer. I dont remember deer feed being quite so heavy.
This morning i went down to the river and did some fishing. Brought home six nice sized catfish. Free protein for the diet.
Im still not moving around well but I'm managing. I havent used the muscles in my legs in a long time so they are being stubborn.

Overnight oats are quite a bit sweeter, quick oats without sweetener are pretty gruesome. Yay for fresh fish!

Rebel you really must make sure you are eating enough, even if you are not hungry. Is there something healthy you can have as a standby that you can eat a little of. Hommous, a boiled egg, yoghurt, unsalted nuts, some cold chicken, a banana.......
