Ah, you think I'm kidding. She gets herself up at the crack of dawn and turns the TV on. MIL feeds her some cake or something and gets her a glass of milk. When she gets bored, she brings me the phone and I tell her Grandpa's phone number. She tells him what she wants to do that day (zoo, park, make cookies) and asks him to come pick her up. Twenty minutes later, she's gone - and I'm still in bed. :)

I have a hard time on weekends myself. I binged a few days ago, it was wicked. But I am in control once again and trying to lose. I didn't gain any weight, because right the next day I went back to my normal regime of eating.

So... I weighed in at 286.6, I was weighing in at 288.8.. I hope I stay down, I am going to try to and hope to be 285 or 284.8 by VDAY... it takes me a long time to lose weight, but I am doing it ..

Awww Cinderelly I am so sorry to hear that you are sick :( I hope that you feel better soon. Parent and tot yoga class sounds like so much fun lol How does the little one like it?


Thanx we are on the mend now but im still not 100% Im supposta start going to the gym for 6am 3x times a week but it is being put off till next week.
My youngest loves Yoga...that is why I enrolled.
 
stair stepper for 20 min. It really kicked my butt. Tonight I am going to do my pilates. I am focused..

:)I hate that stair stepper - I whined my way through 5 mins of it - stupid machine - LOL...However I love the elliptical!!! Im glad your focused keep up the good work!!!

Ladies - we all have strong points and week points good days, bad days and bad choices - the important thing is not to dwell and just move on...One bad choice isnt gonna to make or break you - go one day, one meal, one work out at a time:):):)

Oh and I forgot to mention Im weightin in at 229 this morning:D:D:DI was 234 last weight in!!!

I had a rough weekend where I binged on sugary things almost the whole weekend. I am back on track as of Monday but I am afraid the damage is done. As of today I am higher in weight than I was at the beginning of this challenge.
I switched up a couple of things, I am trying to get at least 120 gr of protein a day, upped my calories and reduced my exercise. All that exercise every day burnt me out.
We'll see if this new approach will make a difference.

Don't be upset Hajni. You are more or less in a maintainance phase of the journy. There will be sugary bingings all your life. It is important to neautralise the consequences of them. I very very much approve your new approach. It is closer to normality as opposite to a vigurous slimming regimmen. All will be fine! :hurray:
 
My Weekends: Well they are easy for me mostly because I don't have children or alot of commitments on the weekend. Since I started dieting I haven't been drinking or going out. (that really throws me off)

If the weather is nice I make time to take a nice long walk outside. I try to also hit the gym.

I have plenty of time to plan out my meals on the weekend. During the work week I eat more if I'm stressed or pressed for time.

I try to keep busy also. I run alot of errands, go to the movies, clean the house, do laundry, cook.

I also mentally coach myself alot ("ok.. todays my day to really kick butt! No excuses!!...") I make a goal list for the day related to my diet (walk 3 miles, list foods to eat..).

I see weekends as a chance to fix any blunders I had during the week.


Thank you soooo much jessafur for sharing this with us....I definitely need to get more active on the weekends. Sad to say but I cringe at the thought of activity....I am trying to change though...I am planning on starting some form of exercise next week and have been stretching in the meantime. (I do that to make myself used to doing something with my body other than sitting or walking up and down the steps)

Thank you Wulsk!! Thank you so much for the positive feedback. I always question myself if I am doing this right... you know? There could be all kinds of books written on how to lose weight but after everything said and done we just have to figure out for ourselves what works. And I very much want this to be a life-style change. I don't want to slim down then gain it back then start the whole cycle again. So I am going to be patient and figure out how to maintain what i have lost and once I master that (is there such thing :biggrinjester:) I can worry about losing more if I need to.

ANd congrats on your loss this week!!!! WOW GIRL!! YOU TOTALLY ROCK!!!

trying to drop about 10 pounds... really wishing for more. But that's going to be the goal. :beating:

January 3: 183.6 (up from where I thought I was, but gives me somewhere to start I guess...)

Hi y'all.. I am sooo Upset :cuss:

I gained one pound. I know It could be worse. I have going to the gym everyday and my eating was good. So after I wieghed myself this morning I binged on foods and had some beers. I was depressed. I am even more upset at myslef for doing that. Tomorrow is a whole new day and I am going to be focused.
