Matt's Diary

It is funny. Now that I am on maintenance too. I find I eat exactly the same way I did when I was trying to lose weight. Looking at your food diary- it looks like you do too. I guess it is because I have eaten that way for so long now- it just feels right. I am in no hurry to introduce cakes and cookies back in. As long as I am maintaining I think I will continue to eat the way I have for the last while. Safer that way-lol.

Yeah it is safer. I probably can eat a little more junk, but I don't want to get back in the habit of eating junk food all the time. Other than cheat days I'm going to play it safe.

I felt bad because I could walk my dog as much as she likes; I was out there for like 5 minutes. I walked her later, we had to walk in the rain (Courtesy of Hurricane Matthew) which sucked.

Lobster tail- jealous!

Thanks! Yeah usually around this time of year she tends to want to go on longer walks. Also one drawback of being thinner is that I get colder easier.

I really hope I'm not coming down with something again. I kind of felt crappy today. Probably due to the fact that I was walking my dog in the cold and my feet got soaking wet because she likes to walk in the grass.

Chicken breast can be dry. I usually lightly fry a chicken breast in a little olive oil & some balsamic vinegar, salt & pepper.

It was dry as much as it was bland. I cooked two pieces and had the other piece yesterday. I put a little balsamic vinaigrette on it and it tasted much better!

Yeesh. I know you and your dog enjoy walking and you love your yogurt, but have you ever thought to yourself, "I could walk a lot less today if I skipped a thing or 2 of yogurt today?" :p

I'm just surprised you aren't totally burned out either one yet.

LOL! Even if I went cold turkey and gave up yogurt, I'd still be doing the walking because she demands it. This time of year she REALLY wants to walk, the last 2 nights I almost had to drag her back in b/c she still wanted to stay out after 2 hours! One time I got curious and decided as an experiment I'd keep walking until she wanted to go back in. After 4.5 hours I finally gave up and said "This is enough! and went back in.

That's funny. No matter how many times I take my little 11lb dog walking, he goes for about a half an hour and then he starts lagging behind. I've never pushed him to see how long he'd go though. I just have to drop him back off at the house and go back out if I want to keep walking.
