Marsia's Diary

That´s all normal. You don´t want to know how often spouses get angry because my clients will listen to me but not to them. It´s nothing personal.
I am finally getting this after years. I give my mom or my hubby advice on stuff I researched really hard, and they believe me sorta kinda, but don't implement it, and then an expert says the same things, and they preach what I said back to me! So funny!! Are you a nutritionalist or trainer or something like that?

I´m a physical therapist but it needn´t even be something I´m an expert on. Expert opinions I could mostly understand - no matter how many hours you put into looking things up online that expert has many more hours on the subject - but it seems like folks just have a tendency to... blend out advice from people they see every day?

Lol it happens all the time

We just went to see a physical therapist for my daughter's painful knees, and it turns out my whole side of the family pronates our arches, so she helped us all with exercises, which are getting us realigned already. Yay for physical therapists! :)

I just did stair stepper and worked on aligning my knees and lifted my arches while doing it. Did 30 minutes, 5 miles, 122 calories. Feels good!

Go Marsia well done to you . Glad you getting daughters kneees sorted .

Slight setback of gaining back 2 pounds in the last 2 days. I made portabella stuffed mushrooms for the family and wasn't going to have any as I had a lot of calories that day, but changed my mind, and ate 2, then looked up how many calories they are - oooohhh darn! And it's been so hot I have been waiting to do exercise at night, but wore myself out with housework, and didn't get to it the last 2 nights. So today I exercise before night and eat mostly veggies. Making a lasagna for the family and a separate one for me with no noodles and minimal Parmesan, and with zucchini and eggplant.

On the positive side, I fit in a smaller sized pants now! Down to a size 16 instead of 18. That feels much better!

Hi Cate, want to make a few day "no fattening food" pact? I am going to try to until I lose my 2 pounds again!

Done deal Marsia. For me, that mostly means - no wine at all. Maybe no nuts or cheese....

Ok, great! For me that means almost no grains, and no dairy except occasional Parmesan! Must have nuts though!!

Well done too on the smaller pants Marsia . That's great news . I may join you all on the fattening g food pact when I get back !

Great, Petal! I actually weighed myself this morning and one pound dropped, so maybe I only have a pound to go, but may just try this for as long as I can!

Thanks, LaMa, but actually I gained 2 pounds and then lost 1 again. So I've lost 15 lbs so far. Still, I feel really happy for what I have lost so far!

Well done LaMa
I think never mind waiting till I get home but I am going to start today . Cutting out all that crusty bread now . It does not make me feel well .

Oops, sorry for that one :/
