THE BIG DAY

THE DAY OF WORKING ABS!

Got up 15 minutes early, no excuse for not doing everything.

I took out Karen Voight's Core Essentials Pilates - a 40 minute tape. It has an ab section but not one that'll kill ya.

Did the warmup...did the leg work...did the arms..........and then...

THE ABS!

I went about it gently & sweetly but full of resolve.

Finished the ab section, did the cooldown and stretch, got dressed and off to work........

As of now, several hours later, I feel a twinge....

BUT IT'S NOT A BAD TWINGE!

That's it for me until Sunday anyway, tomorrow is the bike so I have a couple of days for that area to recuperate & get over it, as Karen says.

Guys, whattaya think?
 
Friday the 3rd

Yeah, I feel it in my stomach. And not "good" feel it in my stomach.

I'm not all there yet......

Bike, 40 minutes.
 
Sunday NOv 5th
Karen Voight's Streamline Fitness, no abs section.

Think I'll stick to doing abs once a week, until January. Then I'll reevaluate "where I'm at".
 
Wed Nov 8th

Bike, 45 minutes.

Have been too busy to write a glowing log here; thanks for tunng in anyway.

I've been sticking to my coffe/low fat yogurt breakfast and salad with hard boiled egg and the occ. piece of low fat, hard cheese. Snack has been an apple or pear.

Dinners have still been regular and light, and even though I'm not on the bike most nights, I haven't been tempted by cookies or candies. Nights have been busy with other things too!

Looking forward to 2007 and the return of regular ab work...I HOPE !!!!!!!!
 
Sunday the 12th

Kathy Smith’s Way to Lose Weight #2, with the 8 minute ab section. Even though I’m just doing it once a week, I want to build up slowly.

It felt fine!

Monday the 13th

40 minutes on the bike…and yes, my abs are still FINE!

Glad to hear your recovery is coming along... How different does it feel working out now (vs before your injury) that you've been nursing your midsection these past few months?
 
Stingo, I feel pretty good right now. I did a short, 8 minute, ab section yesterday and felt fine, then too. Thanks for asking!

However, 10 day ago, I did a bit longer of an ab workout along with my regular workout and felt it was maybe bordering on too intensive for me right then.

I am going to continue with a once a week ab workout, on Sundays probably, until January. I’ll either pop it up to 2 or three times a week, then.

I just don’t want to risk hurting myself; I think slower is better!
 
Tuesday the 14th

Guess I slept funny on Sunday night cuz my neck and left arm are killing me! I didn't dare do any weights.

Wed the 15th

Neck is still quite sore but I did the bike.
 
oh i slept w wearing my bikini top ,and my neck muscles hurt right now
talk about sleeping funny:D
Hope its not that bad as it sounds
