Thank you, Codi.
I danced ballet until I was 16 and decided I wanted to run track. In college I did aerobics when it was first big....then fast forward until the birth of my second, when I started doing high impact step aerobic every day, then blew out my knees.
I was always thin as a child, teenager, and young lady. Either 98 lbs or 102 lbs....
I took a break as the pain was so bad it would wake me up at night. After a year of physcial therapy, I was happy just to get my groceries home from the store and keep up with my active life and kids!
Postpregnancy, I was about 118 lbs then. (5 lbs from each baby, and ......)
When I turned forty, I got a wakeup call in the form of being diagnosed with a thyroid problem and and told to lose weight. That was 2004. I went from 137 to about 110.
I did it with workout videos every Am, and bike or walking at night. On Sundays, double.
I lost the weight in about 5 mos. Life was good. That was 2005.
This summer, we bought an apt and moved. I kept up my schedule and promptly sprained my stomach. It's been a hard road to recover and I'm not there yet.........
Maybe by Turkey Day, though.
