LiveFromNY's Exercise Log

That may be...but first the pain has to stop! It hurts to cough, even!
Play last days in your mind and try to figure out what you think it is!

Hey, don't be down on yourself, it is just a minor set back and unless you are very very short your weight can't possibly be too high. He probably thought you overdid it a little. That certainly does not mean you are too old to train your abs. You are really doing great just back off on what hurts and add the workouts in gradually.

I still walk a lot everyday. I am still going on the bike a few times a week.

Most importantly, I'm having some treats but not overdoing it.

I'm just not sure when I'm going "back"; certainly not while I have these twinges of pain every once in a while!

Sunday the 3rd

As long as I can't report to you my video workouts, i guess we can discuss other things......

Saturday, a lot of running around and not too much overeating. I did enjoy a nice big piece of fancy cake but only a bite of a few other things at parties.

Sunday - simple meals - coffee at breakfast and tuna and w.w. pita for lunch. Had a wedding later and ate bigger portions, but no bread or sweets. Just noodles, fish, chicken and some veggies. Drank ginger ale and water.

Sadly, after a decent Sunday I oinked three pieces of birthday cake. Big pieces...............

Monday, I did okay - lowfat yogurt for breakfast; pita bread & lowfat cheese for lunch. Then, rest of the cake called me....and that was dinner, while I watched a lot of the MASH marathon on the Hallmark channel!

Tuesday will be a better day and this week will be a better week! I packed a big, good green salad for each workday lunch this week, a hard boiled egg, and I think I have some low fata cheese still in the office fridge.

I did my 15 minute walk to the subway this AM and have more walking later today, rain or shine (got the raincoat with the lining ready!)

I'm still getting the pain pangs in my stomach though..when I load and unload the dishwasher, when I reach for the tall cabinets in the kitchen,....when I try to get a sweater on the top shelves (change of the seasons, you know)......

Naaah...I'm giving it time, as it still hurts. After that, I'll go back to exercise. ...and if I still have pain then, I'll see a sports doctor.

Tuesday night the train went out of service, forcing me to walk a long time with two heavy, heavy bags of shampopo, dishwashing detergent, and school supplies.

My dr did say that cardio was best; especially with hand weights!

Anyway, I made wraps for dinner, ran to be on time for a school meeting and then something after that, so it was an evening full of walking and NO SNACKING!

Wed the 6th
Walking and more walking. No overeating.

Thurs the 7th
It would be bike night but I have a wedding and an engagement party ANd the grocery shopping to do and carry home, so it's going to be busy. I hopefully will just taste a few goodies and not OInk them!

I have no plans for Friday or the weekend. Maybe I’ll weight myself, lol.

Sunday is my two-week no exercising anniversary (except bike/walking) since I sprained my stomach.

Monday the 11th

Walking as usual, going on the bike tonite. I used to weigh myself every Tuesday, hopefully I'll remember to do that tomorrow morning!

You're showing great perseverence and strength in adversity which is an inspiration to the rest of us. Keep the chin up as well as the good work.
