You are doing an amazing job. You're right. Now is the perfect time, and take advantage of it. ;) You lucked out with the gym at school, being single, no kids. But I still don't know how you do it with full time school and now you're going to be full time at work!? :eek: You deserve an award! :D Keep at it! YOU are yet another inspiration to me. And is you're an idiot for spilling the food on the floor, I am Queen of all idiots! :rolleyes: LOL

Aw Christina, thank you so much! Now is definitely the time to lose the weight for me because I have the advantages. Full time school and even part time work can be tough to balance at times, but it's like anything else-you make it work. I think that you deserve an award for doing so well while raising a family. You rock!

So for lunch we went to Bennigans. I did good:
Boca Burger on Wheat with Mushrooms and a slice of Swiss and a bit of ketchup (350?)
Side of Roasted Veggies (75)

Late late dinner. I'm so terrible:
1 WW Smartwich-Veggie and Mozzerella (270)
Cup of Pineapple (100)

I was stupid and I forgot my student ID, so I couldn't get into the school gym after my classes. I drove home and found it on my desk and then I didn't want to drive all the way back to school, so I went to the tiny gym in my complex. I hate it there because it's super small and all of the equiptment is old. I did 5 minutes on the elliptical and it didn't feel right. I was all rickity. So then I did 20 minutes on the exercise bike. Not the best workout, but at least I did something.

I bought an exercise ball and a 5 pound weight at Target. Together it was about $25. I can't bear Wal Mart parking lots, even if it would mean saving money.

For snacks tonight:
Healthy Pop Caramel Apple Popcorn (100 for the bag, but I'll be sharing with my best bud, so it won't actually be 100.)

Dessert:
WW Cookie Ice Cream (120)
 
Breakfast:
Slim Fast Chocolate Chip Granola Bar (220) It was pretty tasty, but not filling like eggs and Veggie Bacon, which has less calories.
Orange Juice (50)

Snack:
Fat Free Light Yoplait Strawberry Yogurt (100)

Gardenburger Tomato Basil Wrap (220)

So I've been at work since 8 AM. We had a meeting this morning-bleh. Hopefully I can leave early since I was here for the meeting early. I want to have a good workout tonight.
 
I love the ball,..I use it at the gym ,..if I bought one for home th kids would want to use it all the time as a toy....seeing my lamps going over now!!!!

I love the ball too-I can really feel the abs and butt getting worked on.

Thanks Meshellibel! No big deal about my pass, I still got my workout. That's the one thing I have to remember-if something tries to stand in my way of reaching my goals I just have to find another way to get there. I did go to the gym today after work-45 minutes on the elliptical-said about 475 calories burned according to my age and weight which is now: 220!

So I've lost 20 pounds since January 1st. Not bad. :)

So I'm home now-I've been up since 6:45AM. I had a work meeting at 8 AM and then after the meeting I had to work until 5:30, then I went to the gym. Now I'm going to eat some dinner and watch That 70s Show, and then I have to do some Ethnic Literature homework and then I have to read Acts III and IV of Marlowe's "Edward II." Blah. And I have to have to have to work on my script this weekend!!! And I have a Sign Language test tomorrow. I like all of my classes this semester, but I hate it when it gets to this point and all of the work suddenly piles up! Soon I'm going to have to write a paper for Renassaince and turn in my script, which has to be 30 pages. I also have to learn how to sign a song for ASL (I'm going to do "Car Wash" by Rolls Royce) by the end of the semester. I can't wait for summer to hit so I can spend some time by the pool...even though I'll still be taking a class. It'll be an online class and only one, so I'll have much more time. Sounds lovely. :)
 
I can't believe you've lost 20 pounds in 3 months! I'm so happy for you! :D I hope that you keep going strong. Yeah, I have like, 4 exams and a lab practical this week. I just think the faster I'm done, the sooner spring break is!!!
 
Thanks Matty! I'm sure some of it was water weight, but that all came off in January and I've been gradually losing a pound or two a week since then, which I know is real weight coming off. It's definitely rewarding. I have spring break next week-I'm just going to be working for half of it and then going to visit my mom for the second half. I never do anything exciting.

Thanks again for all of the encouragement everybody. You're all so great-I love this forum. I know it's the reason I've been so successful so far. I'm telling you, I'm writing a book someday about the keys to weight loss, which are not only a wholesome diet and exercise, but support from others who know what you're going through. And I will thank each and every one of you when my book gets published. :D

I want to have a really tasty dinner...I'm thinking about mashed cauliflower and a veggie riblet with some oven roasted broccoli and mushrooms...we'll see how much I feel like cooking after taking a sign language test and going to the gym. I still have a buttload of schoolwork to do, but I did finish Edward II. What a crazy s.o.b that guy was.
 
I went to the gym after my nearly impossible ASL test. 45 minutes on the elliptical and I'll do my weights and my exercise ball later on tonight. I got mighty sweaty. Now for dinner-

Dinner:
1 Veggie Riblet (80)
5 oz Mashed Cauliflower (80) -it's made with 1 1/2 tbsp of light cream cheese
Roasted mushrooms and broccoli (60?)
 
Snack:
Mini bag of Light Popcorn (50)
Peach (40)
