Judgements

Hey folks, God said Judge not lest ye be judged with the same judgement ye judge. We live in a country of freedom of speech. Remember when one points the finger at another 3 fingers are pointing back. In otherwords take the plank out of your own eye before trying to take the stye out of your neighbors.:)

different choice

Being temporarily broke right now, the $27 bucks for the 18in4 diet actually was beyond my means. But I was so curious, I went to ebay and got the 15in4 diet for $9.85. It is VERY low in calories, making it unhealthy. The first day lasted until 4pm, when I felt weak and shaky. I think it was too drastic a change of intake all at once and my system wouldn't stand for it. I've been doing some searching, and found what I think is a very good plan. Of course it all depends on your taste, but this plan gives energy, detox and weight loss. Here's the site:
I know there are no fat people in concentration camps (meaning severe cut in calories WILL cause weight loss), but there are no strong people either. If your body does not get enough food, it will start to eat itself (anorexia). If you want to lose weight, there are healthy ways to do it. A big part of it is your mindset. I need to lose 80lbs but I don't want to be weak and sick. I want to be strong and fit.

there's a full money back gaurantee if that worries you....

the diet doesn't have to be or need to be healthy, not for 4 days. You don't worry about exercise and shouldn't do any as the LOW caloric intake you'll be on would use up energy that you're body will need to keep going for the 4 day diet.

healthy diet

Did you hear about the lady who was competing on a radio show for a Wii? She had to drink lots of water and hold it the longest and she won. Then she died. The lesson? ANY EXTREME CAN KILL. It all depends on your chemistry. I don't care about money back guarantees if I am in the hospital or in the ground. Also, I wrote to the 18in4 guy asking him about his "before" pictures, and he never wrote me back. He is not genuine. It's a gimmick. He's not even in good shape! Don't waste your money or your health. 4 days can mess up your life. 4 days can kill. DON'T DO IT!

lose 20 pound in 30 days

Oh, BTW, the site I quoted before about losing 20 pounds in 30 days? It's totally free on the guy's blog. I would go with someone who actually has proof of his accomplishments, not some 1-pic hick with no history whatsoever. Don't buy the 18in4 diet scam!

hi, kenkong have u started the diet yet, i carnt do the diet and have asked for my money back, iv got another one now diet for idiots and it seems to be working better for me as i can pick what foods i like and it generates a diet for me,
hope it goes well,
julie

mixing the foods?

Juella, you have got to be kidding! You don't mix all the foods together! I have to stop now before I say something really derogatory about your intelligence. Anyway, it's good that you found a different diet, because the 18 in 4 is crap. And whoever said a diet doesn't have to be nutritionally sound if it's only for 4 days is wrong. Sure you can survive without food for 4 days, but what price does your heart pay, or your kidneys or liver? You are taking nutrition away from your body on purpose. Plus, the website also says you can repeat it over and over to continue the weight loss. It should say, "Repeat until death." Then you can die skinny.

i just started visiting this site and i see alot of ppl puting down the 18 in 4 diet and others that like it.My question is to the ppl that are putting it down.Have u bought the 18 in 4 and tried it or are you just goin by what other ppl are sayin.I dont understand if it didn't work for you or you didn't like it,it's only 27 dollars,i bet ppl spend that much or more at a gas station on stupid things like coke and cakes.I am a mother of 4 and have tried exercising, eating right and nothing is working for me,so i bought the 18 in 4 and am excited to try it,and of course u will lose wight if u cut out all suger commem sence. So don't knock it till u try it and if u did and didn't like it u lost 27 dollars oh well big deal

These diets always work. You are hardly eating anything, stuggling to survive and running around for several days. You will lose weight, mostly water, through laxitives and pain. You will only lose a little fat and then as soon as the diet is done, your body is under so much stress that you overeat and your body punishes you for your stavation by overeating.

Wow I gotta say it's disappointing and also pretty sad how gullible so many of you are. Or is it lazy? Believe it or not, I guess no one's heard this before... You don't get something for nothing. Meaning.... You have to get off your ass and put work into yourself if you want results. Eat properly and exercise. The concept is not that foreign. Why in the world would you expect this shit to work? And if you did lose it, I'd love to see how quickly you'll put all that water weight right back on.

Pray for me-- I'm going in.

:angel:Hello,
I have read everyone's post on this subject (18in4) just to see if the plan really works. I have noticed alot of interested parties and not so many willing to take the plunge (which is understandable). I was a little disappointed that many who stated they started and would post their results didnt. Are you still alive, I hope the diet didn't kill you. ;-). Well I cracked under pressure and high hopes, as a result I purchased the plan from the site (@$37 though) and just read over it. It looks alot like the Danish diet to me with a few differences. I survived the Danish diet for 4 days and lost an amazing 7 lbs. Two days later, those 7lbs found me. So I do kinda believe it was water weight. But the money has been spent now, and I am going to give it a try. As Arnold Swartzneiger (?) would say, "I'll be back."

Everyone pray for me as I will pray for all of you.:jump:

Well gang... I just downloaded the diet and will be embarking on 4 days of detox just as soon as I get to grocery shopping for what I need.

It is very very true that this is not a sufficient calorie healthy diet. It definitely should NOT be used continuously. I completely agree that any weight loss will be mostly water weight. But, once you lose the water weight, it makes the fat melting the next step. :D So, this would be great to kick off a diet... which I am planning to do. Um, ok let's make that a lifestyle change, not a diet.

Alikat - I definitely understand where you are coming from, but I think it's more likely to die from 4 days of eating greasy fried foods, high in salt and sodium, and loaded with fat, then from four days of fruits and vegetables and lean proteins. The key to this program is to remember it is NOT a long term fix, but rather a kickoff and a detox from white sugar and flour that are difficult to digest.

Ronnievm- I will certainly pray for you. I hope to see you return with your results. I will return with mine, but am not sure which day I will start on. Here's to happy water weight loss :beerchug:
