I am doing good so far this week!! The weekly challenge is quite easy for me. The scale likes me this week too so I am happy so far!!

Things are going well for me this week. The pounds, it seems, are back to rolling right off. I still can't figure it out but HEY I am not going to question it anymore. :doh:
I am going to go to the local YMCA today and see about getting a family membership. Figured if the pounds want to roll off with minimal effort on my part then they will just *poof* disappear with actual workouts like aerobics and yoga.
Since last Saturday I have lost an amazing 2 and almost 1/2 pounds.
For a total of 22.4 pounds since I started this journey and I believe nearly 11 pounds with the Challenge. I still think that it would totally rock to get to 200 by Halloween. Just don't know if it is possible.
Keep up all the hard work everyone and we will finish out this Challenge on top of the pack.
P.S. :pumpkin: I already know what my costume pic will be for the last week challenge........do you? :pumpkin: LOL (And I'm not telling......you'll just have to wait and be surprised!!!):rotflmao:

Howdy and welcome back!!!I can only give ya points for week 5 plus your weightloss!I can't change weeks ago tho exapmle week 1 you had 4 marks in your bonus week and then week 2-5 were blank and now week 1 has 11??
Plus I am thinking it is really hard to rember back 2 weeks ago if you weighed in each day or whatever that bonus called for for that week to put down the +and * BUT I can add points for week 5 which is "15"+2 for the week before last weightloss,this goes for anyone that has been MIA for 2+weeks with no recording's.Trying to keep it fair yall GL and don't forget SATURDAYS are weigh ins and I usually don't start adeding the points until sun-Mon Ty and Gl

Ouch, we lost out on Heretic's points for the first 4 weeks. And I thought they were included from the begining ? :eek:

I was pretty conservative with my goal, figuring if I reach it before the challenge end anything lost after it would be just icing on the cake. (a reduced calorie one. LOL)
I forgot to bring my tea bags to work so now I have to drink chamomille tea. :eek: Nothing is wrong with that, but I prefer something fruity!!

I am not trying to be a PRUNE sort of speak but I have written everything down from DAY 1 on paper and on herectic's 1st week before he din't come back until now there were ONLY 4 bonus marks and now theres 11 you can't really go back and add or change what you have down unless it was previous week I have 1 on my teamthat hasn't recorded and is she decides to show up and jot down some * and + it would be guessing and not accurate so I can't except nothing but maybe the points for the weightloss,see what I'm saying??I am already talking with someone to maybe start the christmas challange when this one is over becuase it takes alot of time and a tad bit of stress lol.
Anyway GL and hope this clears everything up,Tammy

Sorry to my team, like I have said, lots have gone on in the last few weeks. The post markings are to keep me honest. You don't have to add in the points, I understand, just wanted to let my team know I am not letting them down so far as trying.

Tammy, agree with you!! Please don't let this stress you!! WE are still going to win !!! LOL. You are running the show, no need to apologize for your decisions!!! It is the way it is!!! The last thing I want is for you this challenge to be stressfull. This is a game we should all have fun and make the best of it.
And we are all so grateful for you to put this together. I can personally thank most of my weight loss to this challenge!!!

AmAzing 157lbs lost by all teams WooHOOO Im not even thinking about who is winning right now cough cough..caspers..cough cough but look at what we have done all of us have lost together a pretty much full grown adult in body weight which is something to think about (where does it all go)

Keep up the amazing work guys we got this for sure.

As for the points I pray no one is lying because in the end your only lying to yourself.

I can not wait to a christmas challenge. hell I'll help any way I can like maybe if you do groups like this again you have a team captain who tallys everything up for their own team and send you the stats at the end of the week.. would that help a little more ?
 
Well, I snuck a peak on the scale this am . . . and it read 171.4!!! That would bring me to a loss of 10+ lbs so far. I'm so super motivated. It's kind of confusing tho when thinking about food- on the one hand ya have to be careful and think about what you eat, but on the other hand, I'm not thinking about food in the same way- sure I enjoy it, but I dont feel like I'm missing anything, or having to look forward a food reward. It's hard to explain. Let's jsut say, I am not a slave to food anymore :).

I'm Back!

Everyone is doing an awesome job with their weight loss. Sorry I didn't help get us points last week. I kept track of my days on paper until I was able to update on the computer. I gave myself "+" for walking around the parks(all day). I hope that is OK, if not let me know and I will change them.

Didn't exercise yesterday or today because of traveling and just plain worn out. I am hoping I at least lost what I gained this week.

Well, I spoke too soon about my scale loving me, my weight is up, still not above last Sat. weight but up from what it read all week. Oh well.
The last couple of days at work were pure nightmare. I just exercised off the tension when I got home or the gym.
Looking forward to the weekend since we have nothing planned, so we can rest for once.
I did only 30 min on the treadmill this morning since I had to rush here to work because we have a meeting. So I get here super early to find out that the meeting is cancelled. Now if that doesn't make you mad....:mad:
I am not sure with my night exercise tonight as we plan to go grocery shopping and that is always such and ordeal.
Ok, everybody have a great day and a great weigh in!!! Hopefully my scale shows a bit less than this morning also.

Good morning folks! Well, I just had to share this story with yas. I overslept a little bit this am and decided instead of the NT, I would take the dog for a 30 min walk instead, having not done so in week. I walk a block, turn right and in the middle of the next block I see a little girl, trotting along the sidewalk. Keep in mind, this is about 6 30 am, still dark outside- she is about 4 yrs old, no shoes, no socks, no coat and its about 50 degress or under outside. I approached the girl and she told me she was looking for her mommy. I asked her what direction her house was and we walked about another block and she still did not recognise any of the houses. I took her back to my house and called the police. A very sweet and trusting little girl and I'm sure her mother must have been panic stricken (assuming she knew she was missing). The police showed up, took what little information I could supply and I put her in the police car. I will be sure to contact the police later to make sure she was reunited with her mom.
What a strange time we live in folks . . . .:eek:

Needless to say, I did NOT get any exercise in, save carrying the girl for 2 blocks(her poor feet were frozen), so I guess I will be hitting the NT tonight . ./sigh. I was happy to do it, mind ya . . its just I don't have as much motivation in the evening to get teh exercise in, but I want to see the scale have a "happy number" for me! :)

WOW...Yarmiah. Imagine what could have happened if you didn't wake up late this morning. Some things are just meant to happen. You may not have gotten your workout in, but you helped a little girl...good for you!

You were that little girl's ANGEL!
I can only imagine how the mother must have been feeling/or did realize once she found out.
Knowing my son and how he likes to go outside without telling us I can only imagine how easy it would be for a percosious (sp?) child to unlock a door and soon get disorientated.
You certainly were there for a reason!

I had goosebumps just reading the story. I am so glad you were there to help that little girl!!!! I can just imagine what her mother has gone through after finding out that she was missing. And just like Bella said, I have a small daughter who likes to open the front door and just take off. I'd probably lose my mind if I woke up and she wasn't there!!!
I am so glad you were the one to find her and not some lunatic!!!

Hi all - I'm back home!

Well I got back on Wed. but seem to be in a fog yesterday. Then today at 7:15 am I got a call from the local school to sub. Wow! So I had like 45 min. to wake up and get my shower and get there.

It wasn't too bad. But of course it was a classroom full of 5th graders that tried to pull one or two over on me, but I handled it well (I think.)

I have not been so good as far as the exercise. For one, I was at my sister's and basically being the "nanny" for the 8 days I was there. Which was ok by me, but didn't do too well for my physical state. And when I got home, I slept for almost 12 hrs!

Today I haven't exercised yet, but I guess my dh got me dance dance revolution for the Wii - so I might try that out later. My weight is up 1.5 lbs, but hopefully by tomorrow it will be back down.

Yarmiah - Wow, that is totally awesome about the little girl. You were definitely put there to help her out.

I really didn't have the energy or motivation to work out this evening, after missing my chance this AM. Then, I got interrupted with phone calls and kids when getting ready to work out after getting home, but . ..I got on that damn thing and knocked out 35 minutes. I just had to keep telling myself "Just Do It!", like the Nike commercial. It didnt hurt that I knew the scale is waiting for me tomorrow too!
 
the weeks are winding down guys. I have to step it up if I plan to reach 215 in 2 weeks I have been at a steady 3lb a week pace which would bring me to (god willing) 217 by the end of the challenge. That is awsome for me seeing as I haven't been under 230 in about 4 years but If I could reach that 215 for you guys I will just be estatic.

This site and everyone on here has just been more then I could ever ask for. I never thought I would stick to any plan this long but its not a plan "its a life change" to quote someone idk who. My mom is in tears because she was so worried over my weight and health. But this is the time guys.

One of my cousins said to me "wow laura you look great if only you started this 2 years ago" I didnt get upset I simply said "Well I could be standing in this very spot 2 years from now saying the same exact thing" Its never to late to start, to try, to fall, and to GET BACK ON. We all have the power to do this.

Team you guys have been amazing I couldnt have been "stuck" with a better crew I hope to be paired up again with you some challenge.

For our last two weeks however. EVERYONE lets rock it.
 
Hi everybody!! Happy Saturday Morning!!
So I lost 1.4 lbs this week. Little less then expected (I think my expectations are high nowadays....LOL) but I am happy. And most importantly I look in the mirror and I really start to like what I see. That means a lot more to me than the scale itself. Clothing I thought I would never fit into now fitting me and it still amazes me.
Hope all your weigh-ins go great today.

Laura: Way to go!! You rock girl!! Look how far you have come! And it does actually get easier, or to me it did!!!
I have to second you on our great team!! Makes me sad we only have 2 more weeks left!!!
But a Christmas challenge is coming up!!
