Good Morning Caspers!
I've already knocked 35 of my 45 min exercise(on the NT) and plan on getting some strength training in once I get home. I hope everyone is having an "on program" day!

HI Team,

Had an ok Wednesday. Scale has not moved an oz for me since Sunday. Holding steady. I am about to do my night exercise in a minute. Only planning 3 miles of running and that is it.

Hmmm . . .
7+ lbs to lose to meet my end goal for this challenge.
Not likely, but not impossible- thats over 2lbs a week for the
remaining 3 weigh ins. No matter, I will do what I've been doing-
I'm still 3lbs lighter then I was when I started the challenge. :)
 
Hey all~
Hanging in there. Not sure how much of the bonus this week that I will earn as I am struggling now with the mental task of exercising. Happens every time I reach the point that people start to notice I'm losing weight. I am trying my dangdest to not let it happen this time. I've got me a great cheering squad in my Casper teammates.
I'm gonna go now and bust it out on the elliptical. Just do it is going to be my new motto!!!!LOL
It's almost ironic that this would hit me right now as I have a friend who blogged this a few days ago and I think that it is a true statement of my friends that I have made on here:

How true is the quote above?
How many of us have gone the wrong way and been afraid to turn back?

How many of us, after doing something foolish or dumb find ourselves stumbling in the dark, groping for the light switch, swearing at the shadows in front of us... when all we need to do is turn around and head for the light we just came out of.

After all, if there are shadows in front of us, doesn't that mean there is light behind us?

Turn around, my friend, head for the light you just left.

For if people are your friends, they will love you just the same for coming back.

And if they are your true friends, you just might see their hand stretching out to you from the light... waiting patiently to help you back to the way you got lost from.


You guys are my light and it is your outstretched hands that I see, thanks for being patient and helping me to find my way back.
 
Um I think this challenge has cursed our scales Im down to 228 ish and my scale just read 264 which is absurd I mean I can understand if it was off by a few but come on.

I went to my mom's fancy scale and it said 228 so im just going to use that one from now on
 
Another late nite workout session.
I worked for 46 1/2 minutes. That is more than I have ever done!!!!!!
If you want the whole story pop over to my journal cuz' it's late and I need to go to bed!! LOL
Otherwise this working out late may just turn me into a pumpkin!!! :rotflmao:

Congrats Bella on your workout!!! I can only do a long strech work-out (like above 35-40min) on the weekends. On the weekdays I just don't have the energy to go on that long. So I brake it up to two sessions.
We are all here for each other. Same boat, same shoes. LOL I found a lot of strenght and motivation on here and in this challenge that kept me going. You are doing great and just keep going until you see your goal on your scale!!!

Yarmiah!: Great attitude!! You still lost weight and I think you will be losing from now on as well.

As for me, I done my morning walk on the treadmill for 30 min. this morning. Boot camp is tonight. Hubby has guy's night out tomorrow night , I can't wait. Some peace and quiet for me.. :rolleyes:

Howdee folks! Man, is it hot! I can't beleive its October and in the 80's here in MD! :doh: I got up and knocked out 40 min on the NT. I think I need to load more music on the iPod, as its gettin a bit repetative. I snuck a peak on the scale today- its down so I hope its stays that way for weigh in on sat!

Today900- you scale seems loopy. Change the batteries or invest in a new one- or save the money and use your mom's! :)

Bell- Great work out, hun! Keep it up! as we mentioned earlier, its not the work out that is tough, its gettin off the sofa that is the hard part :rotflmao:!

Hajni- as always, you are consistance and inspirational! I'm sure you wont be disappointed on sat!

Between work and school, I'm an extremely busy girl these days. I just did my long stretch of six 12 hour shifts with only 2 days off in between. I'm so exhausted. Unfortunately, I'm lacking in the exercise department :( I also haven't had much time to read and update on this page. Good to see everyone doing such a good job with their exercises and losing weight!

I am in Florida now. I was so dedicated to my team that I brought my scale with:rotflmao:

I ate pretty good the last day and a half which is usually hard to do for me when we drive that far. I made sure that we brought very little snacks and only healthy ones. And losts of water. My feet are swollen now because of being in the car for 24 hours.

I am not sure if we need to exercise 6 days a week for the challenge, but because of traveling I did not get exercise in yet for today. If we go to the pool I will do laps.

Have fun while your in Florida. Maybe you should try to find Sweatpea, she's down there visiting her baby nephew. LOL

I feel for you girl. Is there any hope that your work load will let up a little bit in a near future? Or is this like a normal thing for your job? And then you have school on top of that. That is dedication.

Cathy, you brought your scale to Florida!! Way to go!! Can't wait for tomorrow's weigh in.

Yarmiah: yay, you saw a good number on the scale!! I am hoping it will be even lower by tomorrow!!! You totally deserve it.

I am happy since it is Friday today, then I have 2 days to re-cover from my weekly torture before I come back and do it again..

Ok, I think I won't have a huge loss this week. Seems like my body is evening out the big loss I had last week. Which is fine with me. I wanted to be 150 by Sat. but I can tell it won't happen so i will have to wait another week for that.!!
The last two days I went to bed earlier, around 9. (I usually go to bed around 10). It made a lot of difference in my morning work-out. I was ready to get up and get going by 5.30 am. Now if I can just keep this up.
I won't be around much this weekend as we have a full weekend with hubby but I will be updating my weight early tomorrow morning.

Hi all, you all sound like you are having a good week.

Laura - weird about your scale - time for a new battery I think!

F2F - I am in FL but about 6 hrs north of Orlando, and don't think we'll be making any trips farther than about 30 min. for now since my little nephew is just now 6 wks old.

Bella - wtg on the workout - I will go read your blog since I have time this morning (I already did some cleaning here - old habits are hard to break!)

As for me only 30 min. on the treadmill yesterday - well 31 to be exact! But it was like a 300 cal. burner (some program sis has on her treadmill) - so I couldn't imagine going for more - at least not at that moment. I guess I could've done more later - but there's more to life than exercise (well at least for the moment and the next 5 days for me!) :D

Well, I overslept this morning, and was thinking "I guess I'll just have
to get my workout in tonight", but decided its never too late to
break a sweat- so I got in what I could 25 min and will still get on
again later and knock out at least 35, but will shoot for 45, as well
as get some strength training in.
Looking forward to a busy weekend, and a loss tomorrow!

Hi Guys another week has passed quickly we are coming to the end in a few weeks.

lets make the most of these last days. We are doing great and I expect us to hold on to 1st tomorrow. So up the anty and push harder then you ever have. Its do or die time.

I really tried to get in a workout today but I didn't. Does walking around the Disney parks count? :rolleyes: As I was exiting off Space Mountain it has a moving walkway and I very seriously considered walking in the other direction to get some exercise. People would have thought I was crazy, but I would have gotten my workout in.:jump:

Do you weigh more when you are closer to the equator?( :)JK )Because, so far the scale is not looking too good for me. Although I have eaten well, I think I am holding on to water. I will have to see what it shows tomorrow.

Yarmiah...great job with getting your exercise in.

Hajni....I need to get to bed early. Time flies and suddenly it is 11pm and I am just getting to bed. You are doing great with your exercising.

SweatPea....Rain for most of the day here in Orlando. I hope you are enjoying your time with your family and your new nephew.

Well, the scale is starting to want to cooperate- had a loss of just over a pound this week of 1.2 lbs.

I'm curious what this weeks challenge is ?! It starts today, right?
