From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Thanks LaMa! I'm very flexible on the clothing choice. I always felt cheerleading was lacking in the loose fitting earth tones area.

Thanks Cate! So sweet as always.

So today is day 6 and no missteps. No snacking and I've run every day. No scale, but I'm back into a pair of pants with a couple more really close.

*hops around on one leg waving glittery things* Gimme a Q! Gimme a U! Gimme an E! Gimme ETCETERA!

Also: good to hear you're doing so well :grouphug:

:D Just trying to build on the theme but I´ve got an old lat teacher coming in tomorrow if you want me to get it right.

~It's morning :blush5: ~
I am SO not a morning person.
Woot to day 6 being SO good Q.
PS I love Latin :)

I don't know any Latin outside of binomial nomenclature and a few mottos.

I ran my mile and stuck to the plan 100% yesterday.

I went back in my diary and found that my all time low of 245.2 was February 27, 2016 and I reinjured my back 8 days later. I put on 35 pounds in 11 months. I'll take that off much quicker. I still have no desire to weigh as I want to focus on how I feel.

I´ve got a motto that would fit you then: luctor et emergo. Also: gaining 35 pounds in 11 months of excruciating pain and frustration is really not a lot.

I like it LaMa!

I've made it 7 days with no missteps. Cutting out processed foods and snacking has made a huge difference already. I'm just 748 days shy of tying my old runstreak. ;)

Thank you Hana, LaMa, and Cate!

Day 8 was just fine. I'm really feeling tired on my runs and in general. I'm still adapting to big changes in intake (food) and output (exercise), and because of that I'm staying the course. If I continue to feel lethargic then I may have to adjust my food. I'll likely give it another week. I feel quite good outside of lower energy.

I refuse to count Cate. I eat raw (soaked) oatmeal with unsweetened nutmilk, chia, banana, cinnamon, ginger, and peanut butter for breakfast and lunch and dinner is roasted vegetables with tofu and quinoa. We eat a huge variety of vegetables (14 in this week's) and use olive oil to get a bit of fat and make the spices stick. It's probably 1,500 calories so I won't croak. I hate weighing and I hate counting calories. As long as I am doing well I don't have to do either. I added a handful of blueberries to breakfast and I can include a fruit or two if I feel the need to up my calories. We use nutritional yeast (Nutch pronounced Nooch) for B12 and take a D3 supplement. I drink water, black coffee, and unsweet tea. That' the entire diet. Except for some fresh peppers chopped up on my food and our 1 Pad Thai tofu without egg on Fridays.

I realize that it really is easier to explain what I do eat then what I don't. I also realize you didn't ask. :biggrinjester:o_O:nopity::willy_nilly::rotflmao:

It's good that you are not actually counting calories Q, especially if it works. I know you are really limited in what you can eat. It all sounds very healthy. Your breakfast sounds delicious. Do you just mix in a commercial peanut butter? I love almond meal.

I spend zero minutes a day deciding what to eat LaMa. If I can keep away from processed foods I'll be as healthy as possible over time. I could never avoid beer for long. Now it isn't a choice. That makes life easier even if a lot of my limits make life harder.

Cate we are currently using fresh ground peanuts. No other ingredients. It won't spread on bread, but we only eat it in breakfast. I've baked with almond meal before and made almond milk and used the leftovers (akari) in baking too. I'm going to start making all of our nutmilk so it will be organic, use the whole nut, and have no other ingredients. It also will allow me to experiment with blends.
