From alpha testing to the QUERCUS 200

Ooo, I´ve got a block of really delicious tempeh in the fridge. That´s going on the menu tomorrow.
Your plans sound good! Hope they´ll help you feel good, too.

Your plans do sound good. They need to be achievable & I'm sure yours are.

I've had stomach problems all weekend. They got worse last night and kept me up. I've now slept off and on through half of the day and I am only drinking water for a while to see if that will get my stomach to calm. I'm down an inch on the belly measure for what that is worth. Running has not been fun. The silver lining is that this will feel easier when my stomach feels better.

Hi everybody! I ended up being really sick for a week and pretty sick for a second week. I'm still not completely recovered, but I'm functioning. I got a negative test for COVID, so it was some nonfamous nonsense that got me.

I'm not postulating as to whether it was a good idea, but I did keep my runstreak alive. Today is day 887 of a mile a day.

I have decided to take a crack at being hyper focused on weightloss for the next 35 days. 5 weeks to form habits and devise a longterm plan.

So starting today:
*Calorie estimation for everything I consume
*Strictly plant based food
*More running
*Start strength training again
*Weighing at least weekly
*Posting here at least weekly

Today
335 pounds (+4.2 lbs since 1/1/2020)

I have no doubt that being sick knocked my weight back down from my apocalypse diet high. Silver linings blah blah...

No excuses, my ass is back in the driver seat. Thanks for reading!

Hi, Q. Glad you're recovering at last. Your plan sounds good. I hope those new/old habits can stick. It's not easy that's for sure.

Hey Q, not sure I have posted on your diary before, if not hello!

I have to say I am impressed with a 335 pound guy who can run at all, let alone be on a 2+ year stretch of doing it every day. That is impressive!

Looks like you have a good plan, I am looking forward to seeing your progress.

I felt the same LaMa!

Thanks Cate! So far I've done better not great, but that is better than I have managed in recent memory.

Hi Rob! I remember you. You've done really well for yourself over the past year! Congratulations! As far as running daily at my weight. I was running daily at 245 and gained this weight back over time. I'm like Milo of Croton that carried the calf and became mighty as the calf grew. Except I messed up and put the cow on the inside. It takes a lot longer to put down that way. I do have some stout legs though.

I slept way too little Tuesday night and ate like crazy Wednesday. I've run a little extra and my weightlifting has consisted of carrying a washing machine and Dishwasher from my truck to the house yesterday. I am more conscious of what I am eating and have improved greatly except yesterday. Even then I got fruits and veggies and stayed plant based.

I feel better already. I'll weigh this weekend.

That sounds a LOT better.

:rotflmao: That made me snort. I always say it was Herakles but I can't honestly remember.

It was probably Imadeupacoolstorykles. I'm happy to have achieved snort either way.
