Floater's diary

Had a nap, had 300g of mango, let Heikki out for a run, had a hot shower, and hoping to fall asleep easily

Can't sleep so I made a meatloaf dough and put it in the fridge to set. I used: four slices of dry rye bread blitzed in the mixer, some panko, some dry soy mince to see if it soaks up the fluid & flavor, spices, 180g of artichoke paste in olive oil, one grated zucchini, chopped spring onion, chopped shallot, a block of feta crumbled, two eggs, and 350g of minced beef. Forgot the garlic but I think it's going to be Flavortown anyway. I plan to bake it at 200C for 40 mins in the morning and report how it turns out!

Late night meal: fried rice with garlic, portobello, corn, spring onion, two eggs, soy sauce & white pepper

Breakfast: meatloaf and potatoes. The meatloaf turned out absolutely divine. The consistency isn´t dense as in a typical meatloaf, it´s soft and juicy and amazing, and I will definitely add soy mince in the dough/batter in the future as well, because you seriously can´t taste the difference or feel it in the texture, and it adds more protein, no saturated fats, and some fiber to the end result as well.

I had soy protein and a bowl of pineapple for lunch. Aqua jogged for 120 mins. I'm gassy AF but even so the weight loss is visible. Had a locker room banana & protein shake. Dinner was cauliflower curry and two moderate portions of meatloaf. It was DELICIOUS. I need to make some with tapenade next. Now that I've got my mixer in use, it's easy to make my own tapenade from scratch.

Still hungry so I'll take some cherries to thaw.

Still a bit hungry but going to see if it passes.

Ideas for today's meals: spaghetti with peas, garlic & parm, egg drop soup

Breakfast: meatloaf and potatoes. Took out 300g of pineapple to thaw and after eating that I´ll hit the gym!

Having that pineapple as a snack now and then it´s off to the gym!

EDIT also 1dl of soy protein in water

Gym was good. I´m consumed by anxiety about my birth family though. Had locker room porridge.

Once at home, took a hot shower and moisturized, and it´s dinnertime now and I´m hungry and low on energy so I´m having 200g of cottage cheese, spaghetti with garlic, green peas & parmesan, and a bowl of cherries for dessert. After dinner I´ll change my bed sheets, clean Heikki´s cage, and vacuum.

Tomorrow is therapy day and I´ll go aqua jogging afterwards.

Glad you have therapy tomorrow. Such turbulent times :grouphug:
You don´t say. I seriously hate how useless society is against interfamilial abuse. Spaghetti was great though, I threw a chopped up portobello in the mix and it turned out scrumptious

Two meatloaf rye bread sandwiches with a chunk of Parmesan. Tasted incredible.

I think I'll buy a new set of meatloaf ingredients on my way back home tomorrow. I know that red meat isn't great for one's health but my meatloaves have a ton of veggies in them and this time I'll put more soy protein into the dough. I wonder what veggies and spices I'll use next? Grated zucchini with olives/tapenade and maybe chickpeas as well sounds amazing to me. I'll see what's available in the small grocery on my way home from the pool.

Having five pralines & half a pint of Ben & Jerrys. I need the comfort before therapy, and eating for comfort _on occasion_ is fine.

So, yesterday I had a banana for breakfast, went to therapy, had Indian buffet for lunch, aqua jogged for 180mins, had my locker room oats with soy protein & a tablespoon of sugar, and at home had pollock with lemon & nettle pesto, green peas, mashed potatoes, and a big bowl of mango.

Today I only had black coffee for breakfast because I was in a hurry to geth to the hairdresser. Came out to her as trans btw and she didn´t even bat an eye, which is exactly what I was hoping she´d react with, and I feel very happy about this. Because it means that people like me are no longer considered circus freaks. Went grocery shopping and got home and had lunch: more pollock and nettle pesto.

I think I feel a headache rolling in so time to hit my meds cabinet and hope it won´t develop into a proper migraine. My neck is stiff like a mofo

Hope your neck relaxes :grouphug:
It´s a bit better!

I´m doing food prep: lentil, kidney bean, soy protein, veggie & bulgur stew, and meatloaf with soy protein, nettle pesto, and roasted vegetables. The food prep will take me the rest of the night but it´s fine, I´ll have food ready for several days once I´m done!
