Yes, I think so, about the body catching its breath before launching into the next jump forward. And it is funny - not a simple matter of eat this, do that, and you'll lose exactly this, though obviously the eating and the doing are both essential.... that was a lot of pounds that went pretty fast so my body must be recouping a bit before I drop more. It’s so funny how weight seems to get lost in fits and starts and not at all the orderly 2 pounds/week that is expected.
I like the sound of your doctor's approach - very steady and measured, very calming, I expect, to have a doctor like that.
