I hope you get a good rest. You deserve it! :) And you definitely deserve to be proud of yourself. You are just doing fantastic.

Good day today. I had to eat lunch out because of a meeting with my advisor and instead of fast food, I went and got something from this little cafe. It's really expensive, but much better for you. Going to have redwine chicken with roasted parmesan zuchini for dinner.

Zumba was really great tonight. I was just really feeling it. I hope my university has a comparable summer fitness schedule that I can do. If not, I'll find something else, but I've been really happy with what I've been doing that past little bit.

I also found out I lost 3/4" around my waist, so that's a pretty good feeling.

Cory, you are doing so great. Into the 250s, and losing inches.... Both are such great rewards for all your hard work. Keep it up!

Oh that dinner of yours sounds amazing.... :drool5:

You really have fallen in love with zumba! Its just great! It makes a huge difference when actually into the sport! Fantastic!

Well done on the 3/4'' loss around your waist!

Great job finding ways to make living healthy enjoyable, too, Cory. I've found the same thing.... healthy doesn't necessarily mean bland.

Justina, it's going alright. Just been a busy busy week. The semester is getting close to the end and a lot of professors are realizing the haven't assigned half the stuff they wanted to.

I didn't go the gym today. Yesterday and today I've had terrible problems with cramping. I suffered through it yesterday, but decided to give myself a night off today. I don't think I'm electrolyte deficient or anything because I've made a point of replenishing them. Hopefully it'll work itself out in a day or two.

Great job Cory.

As far as exercise goes, it's usually best to listen to your body. A day or two rest usually does you some good.

Hi Cory, the end of semester time can be crazy! I wish you the best in wrapping it up. If the cramping you have is in your legs, someone once told me to sit on my back and raise my legs high against a wall too support them for as long as you are able. Something about the lactic acid buildup being able to drain. I'm no fitness professional though so that could very week be bunk haha. But it worked for me!

Have a great weekend.

Hi Cory Congrats on reaching the 250! and also on the inches gone That is always a great feeling! streching always helps me when I have cramps!

Hey guys! So, I only lost half a pound this week, but that's ok. I had a big loss last week so I kind of expected little or no loss this week. Honestly, I'm just happy to be in the 250s still. I was half paranoid I'd have jumped back up to the 260s.

Today was nice. It was technically a rest day, but I still wound up doing some yard work and going for a walk with my mom. It was really nice outside today and I just couldn't help myself.

Hey Cory well done on the loss! It is awesome that the scale is moving for you - and you can lose weight every week!!

Good job on the exercise during your rest day!! You even bagged points for it for the challenge.

Have a nice Sunday!

Hey Cory you are doing great! A loss is a Loss no matter the size the scale is going the right way! Congrats!

Good work Cory. Following up a dramatic loss with a loss of any size is actually quite encouraging. My experience has been that the weight tends to drop off quickly and then level, and then drop off quickly again and then level. Rinse and repeat.

I do think some general sense of averaging or trending will help you as your weight trends down. Looking at a mid point between a big loss one week and a small one the next is probably the best bet of where you're really at.

Having bought a reliable doctor's scale at the start of this and weighing myself as close to everyday as I can manage, it really has helped demonstrate to me how volatile body weight really is. I lost two pounds between yesterday morning and this morning and it sure wasn't because I had a 7000 calorie deficit yesterday. :)

Good luck with all the end of semester work! I don't miss that part of college, that's for sure... I guess it prepared me for busy seasons (I work in accounting) but that was the only good thing about those stressful times! About the cramping, do you eat bananas? I think it's the potassium in them that is supposed to help with cramps. A friend of mine said it helped her, even though she doesn't necessarily *want* a banana every single day, haha. I would personally love it if a doctor told me I needed to do that!

Ha...funny how we change as our lifestyles improve! Even on your rest day you couldn't stay away from physical activity and moving around outdoors! That is awesome!
