Hey Cory, sounds like you are doing pretty well. I think gardening/yardwork is exercise. The myfitnesspal thing I use to track calories and exercise includes it, will even give you an estimate of calories burned. And given your circumstances 1,800 calories a day is not bad, I think you will probably lose weight at that level.
