One bit of advice I would give to anyone asking is to look at the calories in those protien shakes. Most of them are very high. I have read up on this a little and the best thing I have heard is have a glass of milk when your done with your work-out. Read up on that and see what you think. It has a lot more or the same benefits as a protien shake but less calories. If your like me...I want to enjoy every single calorie in every bite and I want to save them for the good stuff!! Not some powdered milk concoction with some artificial flavours and who knows what else they put in that stuff.
I think it was Prevention magazine where I first read about the "Glass of milk after a work out." Check it out and weigh your options.

I just busted down into this class.
I'm out of the 300 club and I'm never, ever going back.
My stay here, however, is going to be a long one, so get used to me.
But there is calorie loaded crap out there thats usually cheaper and tastes like ass.
