welcome bigandsad to the club. I must admit... Your poster name is kinda sad though. :(

w&m - I think you're confusing two different events... IN THIS THREAD, there are no teams. just start walking, running, whatever. whatever distance u've crossed just subtract it from the last given distance. it is not an individual or team competition. it is a club challenge. why? no reason. just something to motivate us to walk, run, cycle, whatever more.

In OTHER threads, people have signed up for a Biggest Losers Challenge run by Hypo Hippo. Twinmom, M2M and I have signed up for it. You've probably seen the threads... ie: Fat Blasters, Termin-Eaters, Saucy Sisterhood, etc. We're in mid-challenge right now. That's what M2M is referring to. It's probably too late to join but the competition will end next week Monday. If Hypo Hippo decides, she might start another one and you can join that one.

Does anyone remember our starting distance from Banff to Winipeg and our starting date?
 
I looked back and found it. It was July 5th. Twinmom crossed the finishing line. And the distance from Banff to Winnipeg is 2316.8 km. So we've crossed almost 300 km in about 2 weeks guys!!
 
Kms for today 20.1kms (cycled) brings our total to 2069.58 - 20.1kms:

2049.48kms

Today I really felt like stopping at 15kms but I kept saying Winnipeg....Winnipeg....Winnipeg. So you see this journey of ours really does work:D
 
I didn't get around to posting my miles for yesterday - I put in 4.2 miles then and another 4.1 miles today which gives me 13.28 kms total.

Our distance left to Winipeg is...

You girls are hitting those miles (KMS) big time. I'm going to have to step it up a couple of notches to keep up with you.

I put in 2 miles again today *yay* converted to 3.2 kms

so with my 3.2 kms and Chips 6.4 kms brings our total down to : 2026.6
 
just walked 5.1km... I'm exhausted. *faints*

Hi Everyone,
C - My feet don't hurt, but I worked up to 4 miles a day slowly. Hopefully by next week or the week after I'll be at 5 miles a day and thank you for looking back to see when we started, I figured I *could* do that, but was hoping someone just *knew* ;)
Val - Good job on the 2 kms - doesn't it feel great to get out there and MOVE!!
Steph - I'm glad you're eating healthy, but quick, go for a walk!! :D
and Chip - if you step it up a notch, I'll fall over!

I ate bad, very bad today. Yet I did my running. I must be nuts it was 104 degrees. I was very carful I took my 32 Oz. of water with me & took some money just in case.

Steph1986, I think if you had a choice to eat good or exersise, eating good be the one too choose. Keep up the good work

Steph - don't feel badly about not exercising, just concentrate on the positive. You ate well for the week, make this the week to start moving!

Tman - 104 degrees and still running!! Hope you drank all that water!

C - great job on the 5.1km.

I didn't do cardio yesterday, am off to the gym now to do some cycling. My goal is another 20km -toe still sore, but getting better might be up to some walking middle of next week.

Chip - I don't know how you do it in the heat. I'd be dead! Pure and simple!
And is there a reason you find yourself eating badly? What about the family, are they still on board?
