W&M, the walking thing is like an imaginary relay, we are all on the same team. We all walk, run, bike, whatever - and then record our distance, subtracting it from the last person who posted. All together, we pass the baton, recording our distances, until we get to our destination. Then, we pick a new destination and take off again! It's just a fun way to stay motivated to move.
