Cate's Diary

Thanks, LaMa & Liza. I feel quite a bit better this afternoon & have got my head around the problem.
I was asked to play in a team with G1 & we played over 2 weeks & won the C grade championships yesterday. I have not been playing well at all but I feel I’m getting it back a bit.
I left when they started going on & on :)

Well done Cate in your win and hope the stress has eased off a bit now

Thanks, Petal. It has. Sometimes you just have to get your head around a problem & I have done that.

We're very grateful to you for the deleting spam! :hug2:

Congratulations on the championship - and also on leaving when the exasperating gufftalk started up!

Thanks, Amy. I'm one of what is a really good team these days on different time zones which works well.
I am going to leave before the exasperating "solve the problems of the world" talk each week if I can. I hope I don't start thinking I know all the answers as I get older. None of us does of course.
G & I are off to town today & I will pick up my new glasses. I'm feeling a bit lazy. Had another good night's sleep, but wide awake at 6.15 am. We're away for the w/e & Arch will be going into kennels for the first time with us. We'll take him to town with us today.

Sunrise and birdsong! Nothing wrong with waking at 6:15, if it's after a good night's sleep! :)
New glasses sounds great - I love how clear everything is, with new glasses - the world just eye-catchingly worth looking at!

Thanks, Liza. The weekend did me lots of good. I am very grateful that we are able to still have a social life. *touch wood*
Hi, Amy. I’m not in bed for long enough though so when I can I’m going to have a nap. I did today when we got back from town. I like my new glasses. They feel light.
I just got back from a 1.5 km walk. I’m done for the day.
We’re away again tomorrow for a night & a couple of days. I’ll check in briefly sometime xo

Thanks, Petal. I would rather not put him in a kennel, but it’s only one night & he will get attention. It’s only a small place.

It´s probably good to have a place where you know he´s comfortable should something unexpected ever come up.

I think so, LaMa & it will be interesting to see how he goes.
I didn’t get much sleep last night. *sigh* My week has been a bit full on I think.
I’ll aim for a stay at home week from Monday onwards.

Nice to have the gentle week to look forward to! Safe travels over the weekend, and I hope the kennels work out well for Archie. :)
Hope your weekend away is going well Cate.
Hoping you are all having a good time and Archie too . Good luck with the sleeping when you get home Cate
Thanks, Amy, Liza & Petal. We enjoyed our weekend away, but am glad to be home again. Archie didn't settle into the kennels at all but settled back home quickly. I don't think I will take him back there again. We used to have 2 little dogs that went together in there, but he would have been lonely as it was deserted except for a couple of big dogs a fair way away from him. I don't think he got much sleep as he's still exhausted this morning.
My body broke down playing golf yesterday. I ached all over & abandoned after 7 holes. I'm going to have a couple of weeks off golf to see if I can fix my knee.
I am very tired this morning & will have a very lazy day. It is raining, so hopefully I won't get nagged for walks.
