A black four-footed creature... I'm guessing a cat! Am I right?

Having it be shopping just for you, and no-one house-sharing with you is a positive - it means you have real control over what's around, nobody brings in unhelpful stuff, and nobody eats up the last of the whatever that was planned for the night's meal - which is all excellent! :)

yes its a cat
her name is marigold

yes im very lucky i dont have all the food
issues that can be caused by having
others bringing in food

i made my goal yesterday
and im already done my goal today

so tomorrow can be a no binge goal

do i exercise?
i wasnt sure if that was decided?
i think i wont
and just
do the no binge goal

It´s your decision but I think a rest day a week is a good idea. It may keep leg pain to a minimum. Great work!

Marigold the black cat! She sounds like a story-book character! :)
I'm glad you have total control over your food - housemates can not only bring in unwelcome food, they can wreck up planned eating by finishing off things, or leaving things out of the fridge.

oops got my days mixed up
its not tuesday
so todays an exercise day

since i did the wrong one yesterday ( the 20 minute one)
i guess i do the 15 minute one today

so tomorrow no exercise
and a goal of no binge

i made my video day
and my no binge day
yay

so im off to start the rotation again
with 10 minutes on my bike

and went food shopping today
so hoping the food lasts(no binging it all or wanting to throw it all out)
with the weather here i dont know what days i get to go food shopping now(so maybe i will get to go more than once a week)
or maybe not
so i still have a bit left from last week but since it is frozen its safe i hope--
i havnt resorted to eating frozen food yet

i got the 10 minutes bike done

the bikes alot harder
when i get off the bike i feel
like im a hundred years old
i can barely move
but im only going 10-15 mph
according to the bike
but i still want to include it
because maybe because if its that much harder
than the video walking days maybe its doing
more to help my legs?
despite the stupid pain

next week i want to try to up the minutes
and since its not going to be upping the bike time
maybe do 1 day of a 30 minute walk video and the other days the same as this week?
so a 10 minute bike day and a 15 minute walk day then the 30
minute day

and i feel as tho i should do something more
with the food control but i have a huge confusion
about the kind of foods and what plan to follow
i need some guidelines because of always being
hungry i cant trust how much to eat
so heres the confusion--
i dont want so much processed food to eat
and not so much salt to eat
and low low carb to avoid the insulin and needles
and i dont like alot of meat
plus
i have 2 health conditions that seem to require
an opposite type of diet
for example 1 requires low protein but
the other seems to respond better with more protein
and i cant balance the 2
because helping 1 seems to make the other worse
unless i have it totally wrong
gosh i hope i didnt make this confusing

so in my understanding it seems as though to meet the terms
of both health conditions i would eat low carb which usually
means more meat for one but high carb for the other to make it lower protein
add low salt and low processed food
and i seem to have no choices left
i dont want all that meat and salt and processed chemically laden food tho
im really really stuck on what to eat
ive tried getting dietician advice but mostly they just tell me
about the SAD which normally include all the foods i want to avoid
where do i go
what do i do

I can´t solve your diet problem for you, I´m afraid, but more veggies might be helpful for both staying full and lowering protein. Well done on not eating or throwing out all your food reserves!

I am no expert but will tell you what seems right to me.

First I think you should keep on exercising, even if you have to cut back to manage pain. Some is better than none, and in time I think you will make progress.

Second with respect to diet, I can't advise any specific foods or diets, but I do suggest you count your calories and keep them in a reasonable range. If you do that you will lose weight, no matter which diet you choose.

Good to see you are trying, that's half the battle!

I am too conscious of how little I know to want to give advice, but (here I go, shooting my mouth off anyway) - yes the extra walking sounds like a good move. Feeling like a hundred when you get off the bike might be just normal tiredness, or it might be something else, like your knees telling you to not work them too hard too quickly - I don't know. But either way, the extra walking shouldn't hurt!
About food - how do you go with fish - like tinned tuna, or salmon or sardines? They're all good available not-fattening protein.
And I really second LaMa's tip about vegetables! Broccoli is simple to steam or boil, and a touch of some kind of sauce (I like a bit of soy sauce, with a squeeze of lemon and a dob of butter - Rob likes a touch of chilli sauce) makes it very tasty!

That´s a shame. Next time when the food gets too tempting maybe try to get either the water or the exercise goal anyway, just to feel like you still have some control and you don´t get too down on yourself.

didnt do well today
:( But that was then, and tomorrow (or today, if it's tomorrow already for you) is a new day. All the best for the new day!
