Thank you so much girls! You have been very very kind with me. I ve updated my stats first thing this Thursday morning before I go. I am missing today's bonus as well. If I have survived this week I will have to put extra effort in the last week. Especually that I will come back heavier after eating pastas and pizzas.

Wulsk I saw your pics earlier but was in a rush so I didn't have time to post. You look absolutely amazing! Beautiful!

Hope everyone else is doing well. I am going out of town today (leaving for Vegas w/ some friends--haha happy Valentines Day) so looks like I'll miss my sodium for today as I wont be able to get online to post even if I do stay within limits! So, hopefully I'll still be here next week! I hope you all are getting all your exercise in and the low sodium shows on the scales this week!
 
Week 7 Bonus

Wow, can you believe it's the last week already?

This week's bonus is to set a 1,000 calorie range for the week and eat within it. The minimum range is 9,800-10,800 calories. My range will be 11,550-12550. There is no maximum range. You'll get 20pts for staying within your range. There is a 20-calorie grace in case you are slightly over or under. So if I eat 12,560 calories, I'll still get my pts.

Think its a brilliant challenge as well.
i always think that I've eaten loads in a day and then when i get home, write everything down and work out rough calories I find that i haven't eaten as much as I need to.
Brilliant idea.
If I last next week!
Weight has gone up and will not budge!
Pain in the backside!
bloody annoying!!
 
This weeks challenge sounds awesome. I weighed in today, and I went down 1 lb still!!!!! During this week I gained 3 pounds, I believe it was because I was eating too few calories, But I upped my calories, and exercised well, and I lost 4! I'm very happy. I was hoping for more then a pound, but its still awesome.
 
I certainly do hate, loathe and detest this bonus. Now I have to work out how many calories I am likely to want to eat. As if giving up eating raisins wasnt hard enough!

Thank goodness we are no longer in teams and no-one is depending on me for this!

Do we need to "announce" somewhere before hand how many calories we plan to stay with-in? Or do we just keep it to ourselves and then at the end of the week log it all down?
 
Hey Everyone!
Went thru and looked at everyone's stats for this week and so many of you did AWESOME!
I hope that I am still here after Kim is done tabulating everyone's points. But would not be surprised if I wasn't.
I was sick for a few days and did not make it to one of my classes and the other was cancelled due to the weather.
Top that off with the fact that I still weigh the same as last week and we will see where it leaves me.
Did want to say that I did come with-in 3 pounds of the mini-goal that I had set for myself at the beginning of the year.
I wanted to be 185 by Valentine's Day and I was 188.
I will take that as I started out at I believe 198ish. So a 10 pound lose is admirable in my book.
My next goal is to make it down to 165 by mid May. That is when my MIL comes here to live (not with me Thank Goodness! LOL) and she hasn't seen me since I started losing all this weight. I would love to be at my original goal by the time she arrives. That would put me at a 65 pound lose!

Bella, to answer your question--I would love it if everyone would post in their stats what their caloric goal is. I have already done this, so if anyone wants an example, just check out my stats on the first page. I also plan to list my daily calories there as well.

Good luck meeting that May weight loss goal, Bella! I know you can do it! :hurray: I'm sure your MIL will be shocked to see how much you've shrunk. Do you get along with her?

So far those safe from elimination this week are (not in any order) Omega, Wulsk, thekrinse, Bmohearn, keepitoff, MidGaGuy, Bikinibound, Bellaryna. Still waiting for one more person to update. Jerome sent me a PM yesterday saying due to his work schedule today, he wouldn't be able to update. I PM'd him back to say he could list his Thursday weight and update yesterday, but I don't think he got it in time. So, he will be out this week, giving one of you a break..lol.

Good luck to Pinketnies, Missblonde and Jerome in the parallel contest. I would imagine that you would stand an excellent chance in that contest since you have lasted so long and therefore had the added incentive to maximise points.

Pinketnies, Missblonde and Jerome, you should all be proud of yourselves as well. You definitely put the effort in to make it this far. Well done!

On another note I have to share this. It took me until this morning to realize the calorie range you gave us for this week's bonus is for the entire week. When I first read it I said to myself, she can't seriously expect us to eat 10,000 calories a day, it must be a joke. And then everyone else seemed to be playing right along. I said, I must be missing something. I read it and re-read it and still couldn't figure it out. I'm usually not that dense, lol. Finally this morning the little light blub went off along with a very loud DUHHHHHHHHHH!

So now that I've figured out this bonus I do need to up my calories a little bit. I normally average around 1,300.
