Wulsk--are your tomatoes canned? Canned veggies always have more sodium than fresh or frozen.

I'm sorry to say that the bottom three people whose names are in red have been eliminated.

Just for fun, I counted team pts this week, and the Blue and Black teams were tied with 918.4pts. However, if we were still in the team phase, the Blue team would've won b/c they had more weight loss this week.
 
Hi All,

Hope everyone is having a good weekend and watching your sodium. We're going out to dinner today....again....a family function. I've already checked the menu and know how I'm going to ask them to prepare it so I should be fine. Kind of makes you feel empowered when you can do that.
 
I'm sorry to see you guys go :(....but good luck w/ the continuation of the challenge :).

I'm doing relatively well with this sodium thing....just found that I had to cut out my evil frozen meals!!! Hope you all are doing well this week. I did an hour on the elliptical yesterday and hopefully will manage to get down to the gym again today! Good luck everyone!
 
Hey all!
Did pretty well for the most part this weekend.
Sunday was a bust as we were having a fundraiser for our senior minister's wife (she has a brain tumor) so the only food available to me was pizza or chili. Neither of which was low in sodium. So I am out 3 points. :(
But it's a whole new ballgame starting today.
Bring on the water. LOL
 
Dawn - that was tough with the sodium. The only positive is that your fundraiser wasnt Wednesday so there is time to lose any water weight before the weighing.

Things are going fine here. I got all my exercise completed on Saturday (as usual) and am happy to note that my normal food is fairly low on sodium. As long as I dont binge I should get all my bonus points. As ever my big question mark is associated with weight loss.
 
Morning everyone! Just wanted to drop in and say hello to everyone - hope you are all doing well. I'm doing good with my exercise and the Sodium - a little tougher than I thought it would be, but I'm so thankful for this bonus because I didn't even realize how much sodium I was eating every day - a real eye opener!

Hi girls,

I apologise I won't write to everyone individually but I have been a bit busier this week. Also I am trying to squeeze 300 min in 6 days and I am pretty certain I will. I am doing very well with the sodium. I discovered that my usual sodium intake is very low because I eat a lot of fresh fruits and vegetables and grilled chicken so this seem to be quite ok. The chinese food I ate yesterday though was 100 % sure over the 2500 mg and the proof is that I am 1.1 pounds up today. I am certain this will be corrected tomorrow as I had only 543 mg of sodium today.

I will try to be more strict on checking in and reporting for the rest of the challenge. :grouphug:

I am supposed to go out to dinner w/ my boyfriend tomorrow night so we'll see how that goes. Hopefully I can find some low sodium food on the menu! Anyway, hope you all have a wonderful Monday (or Tues if you're in England!)

Gosh feeling like I haven't been around all week!
been soo busy watching rugby all weekend!
Sodium levels are staying down!
eating fresh fruit and veg helps.
Never realised how much salt was in bread mind!
Which is a bit dull considering how much you ahve to put in when you make it!
But still!
Think the weight is going to be stuck again this week so trying extra hard to try and get plenty of exercise which i did yesterday as one of the dogs went missing in the woods and we were looking for him for about 2 hours!
Got home and he was lying outside the house in the sun!
Walked home on his own!
The other one went sheep chasing this morning so its been a bit stressful!

Everything is going well over here. As of yesterday I have over the 300 minutes needed for exercise. Keeping the sodium down hasn't been a big problem either. I just cut out a few things and when we've gone out to eat I've told them exactly how I wanted my meal prepared.

The scale is down almost 2lbs but I'm going to try and stay away from it until Thursday. The only worry is that I'm expecting a visit from mother nature any day now and I never know how that will affect me on the scale.
 
Hello girls, I am doing very well. My sodium today was 980.1 g. I took some pictures of myself today and I discovered that the pilates I do had given some visual results. Actually I could say that almost ALL I have achieved in my weight loss I owe to the Bikini's challanges! I will put my pic here for a day or two. The second pic is actually just before THIS very challenge.
