Bikini, thanks for saluting me
Congratulations for your loss too! This is such a great feeling to see the scales being on your side again after TOM.
I do love coffee as well very, very much. One of my new year's resolutions was not to drink coffee at evenings and not to drink more than 2 coffees a day. I am doing alright so far but every evening I go to bed with the thought of my morning coffee.
Keepitoff83, congratulations for those 2.5 pounds! You are already a skinny girl.
Pinketnies, I will keep my fingers crossed for your weigh in! I hope you will see some nice result!
Cinderelly, I also thought of completely giving up drinking coffee but since there are some reports that it can be actually not so bad for health and because it is so low in calories, I decided I don't have to cut this pleasure as well but only to limit it. Ah, and thanks for being nice with me again.
Missblonde, I am so sorry for your back. I see us having similar problems. I also tend to do something to my lower back and it feels often uncomfortable. To touch wood it's not too bad. Please be careful! Getting stressed over my weight loss is also so my thing. No matter how well I'm doing, I have this scare that something will happen in my life and I will grow big again. Maybe it is normal and maybe it is even positive to keep us alert and careful! Glad that you are seeing positive results! Great job!
Bellaryna, good job with your exercises! I was also lucky as you were that my TOM issues have been "sorted out" before the weigh in days.
Good for us!
Bmohearn, 1 million YAYs for your 1 pound! It's great!
Thekrinse, you sound very fresh and positive. Well done about the good work and I wish success on the scales tomorrow!
I am seeing positive although small result this week. I am a little puzzled with this sodium issues though. As I am preparing my food lists in advance for the next day I already know my result for tomorrow and it will be 1015 mg. of sodium. I have discovered odd things while estimating this. I followed the labels of most of my vegetables and the potato, zuccini, cauliflower and broccoli all had very little sodium - only traces for 100 g. in each of them. However I didn't have packed tomatoes and went with the values for a small tomato in SparkPeople which was 8.2 mg
How is that possible that tomatoes are so much full of sodium comparing to the other vegetables? Or is it a mistake in either Tesco labels or SparkPeople values?
Other shock was that SparkPeople gave me 20 calories for 1 tbsp of paprika (that's a lot for a spice) and 2.3 mg of sodium (I was just about not to bother with the spices and just count them as 0 sodium; good that I checked). Same with turmeric: 1 tbsp: 24 calories, 2.6 mg sodium.
On the other hand according SprakPeople 1 orange has 0 sodium. Is it possible?
I added to my sodium intake the 21 mg which are in my 1.5 litres of water according its label.
Have a great week all of you. May the sodium not be with you!
