Weight-Loss
I can't believe today is the last day of the challenge. Great job everyone! You have all done so well and will continue to do so without a doubt. Your dedication is to be admired. You should all be extremely proud of yourselves.

Kim, thank you so very much for all the hard work and effort you put into these challenges. For me it was great motivation. It got me right back on track after the holidays where I could have gone in the completely opposite direction. Each week changes things up a bit so it never gets boring. It's been a lot of fun.

V.

V - I agree. We all benefit from these challenges in so many ways. They always make me lift my nutritional game. Kimberly puts in a lot of hard work to make them happen.

I loved this challenge! Unfortunately I didn't do as well this last week b/c I was in Vegas and then of course since I am working on my pediatrics rotation, I got a bad stomach virus from the little kiddies that hasn't let me function well. It did, however, cause me to lose some weight :). Regardless this was an awesome challenge! I don't know if I would've stuck to it as well as I did had it not been for the challenge. Plus, I am much more aware of what I'm putting in my mouth daily! Thanks Kimberly! Good luck to you all this Friday!

OK last day everyone!

You all know what I think about these challenges! I adore them!

I did excellent throughout the challenge apart of this last week. I had to eat 2077 cal today in order to stay in range. I am being careless! :cuss:

I will be UP UP UP tomorrow! Can I put my Thursday weight as a final one?

I am certainly ready for the next challenge. I NEED IT!

Good luck tomorrow! Who will be the number one? :coolgleamA:

After having Margaret point out to me that I had miscalculated my range totals I went back and figured out the actual totals for the week. Thinking that for sure I blew it. Figures up even with a binge day that I had on Tuesday ( over 3000cals ) I am still in it!
I have just a bit more than 1000cals but I am so happy to know that I did not completely wash out of the challenge!
Good Luck everyone tomorrow!
And again Kimberly A BIG THANK YOU FOR SETTING UP THE CHALLENGE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!!
And of course big Thanks to Margaret for catching my error!

Often a binge isnt as bad as you think. It can be worth analysing it calmly - especially if bonus points are riding on it!

If I have to count my calories - everyone else should have to too!

Haha I often count my calories anyway, but usually more as an estimate, and I tend to overestimate to be on the safe side. But I didnt bother doing this bonus challenge since I came in in the middle of it! Good luck everyone!

Calorie counting works for many people.

Calorie counting makes me too self-critical - and my going even slightly over has led to me feeling like a failure and abandoning too many weight loss projects over the years. This is why I never normally count calories - but I do adhere to a very repetitive very healthy balanced diet. If the calories were not more or less right - I would not have lost any weight.

I did it just for this week because I wasnt going to miss out on my points.

As it happened it coincided with me setting up a new food plan - so I would have counted calories for several days this week - even if the challenge hadnt asked me to.

Hey everyone!

I'm blushing at all your kind compliments on my challenges. :blush5:

Thank you all for signing up and participating. I'm glad you all find them so helpful. I hope to see you all at the next one in 2 weeks. As I said earlier, I'll be posting more info and a team sign up in one week. :)

Congratulations V - that is truly astounding weight loss.
You were in a commanding lead from the very start.

Well done!

All finalists should certainly consider themselves winners.
Also everyone that lost weight or lifted their nutritional or exercise game.

Thanks everyone. This challenge really helped me take things to the next level.

I do have to agree with Margaret. Everyone should consider themselves a winner. We all did remarkable.

Looking forward to the next challenge.

I thought you all might be interested to know that between the 38 people who started the challenge, we lost a combined total of 236.6lbs! That is only counting what's been reported, so it could possibly be a lot more than that. Regardless, that's really quite a lot of weight--an entire large person or two small people.

Thank you again for participating, and congratulations on all the hard work you've done these last 7 weeks. :grouphug:
